Poet Introduction
My poems don't usually have a rhythm to it, or rhyme; most I write now are free verse poems. I don't write constant as in everyday, usually as an outlet based on my emotions I feel at the time. Some of my posts will be of old poems I wrote a while ago.

Lioness
Lioness
Queen of the jungle
Her domain, Her kingdom
As she stands tall & proud beside her King
Strong, immobile
His mane his crown upon his head
And with him she watches
Watches as Her kingdom
Once glorious, prosperous
Begins to disappear, dwindle
As it’s slowly being taken
Stolen
From the memories of her people
The Great Plains of Her Kingdom
Now a land made to destroy her people
Taken by her captors
To diminish their legacy
Destroy their prosperity
Claimed as their own
Forcing her people to live under them ...

Truth
It’s hard to see the truth nowadays
When the media has our vison blurred
The big picture obscured
By a misleading haze
Leaving us in a unquestioning daze
Working mindlessly like a slave
Just so the bills can get paid
We walk around numb
To what’s really going on
Hearing only the tune
The lyrics we’re meant to hear
On repetitive brainwashing songs
Stuck on a loop
Got us hangin by the hoop
Strung up by our enemies
Who are really our so called saviors
In camouflage concealed
Denial we feel

My Knight
We play an endless game
Tit for tat
An eye for an eye
A jab for a jab
A shot for a shot
A stab for a stab
Right in the back
Behind my eyes
Thought I saw
But was left blind
To that attack
Led by you of all else
Who knew my weak spots
And blind sides
Who stood to shield me
From prying eyes
as I cried
And cried and cried
For the things to come
For the things I fought inside
That even you couldn't protect me from
But now left me here alone
Saying you're done
Dropping your sword
Turning your back to me...

Sleeping Potion
Wet kisses from my lips
Between my hips
In his hair a tight grip
Run my tongue along his tip
Before it takes a dip
Into the heat
Our breaths in time
to the rhythmic beat
Our bodies meet
Feeling the quake of each slap
before he puts me to sleep
In his arms, warm united
After a night of endless fighting
Leaving clothes torn voices horse
From crying out for more
As he gave it his all harder than before
Shakes the bed grabbing his head
Biting the blanket like it's lead

The Cycle
The kissing and biting
The fighting and fucking
Clawing and sucking
Pulled close as he's bucking
As she's screaming creaming
Marks on the back as they're rockin' and leaning
Growls of battle and pleasure intermixed together
Tormentous weather kisses light as a feather
Then cuddled in the morning saying "I love you"'s
Starting at the beginning of the cycle again
Unable to stay with each other as "just friends"
Fighting each other so to love another again

The signs were there all along
yet to the passion we held strong
Consumed by our desire
we both burned within the fire
But of the hurt we never tired
Pulling at the other
two star-crossed lovers
Unlike the tale of Romeo & Juliet
The disaster didn't hit yet
Or did it?
Bloodshed of the heart
of a bond torn and ripped apart
burned to ashes from that desire

You stole my heart
the thief in the night
who snuck upon me by surprise
and held my heart right before my eyes
Exposing the darkness
I kept locked away
stood by me to fight them
refusing to run
saying you'll stay
You showed me
everything that was wrong
the bruises, the cuts

The voices they ring
The voices they sing
of the pain and destruction
that I would bring
Anyone who gets close
will be the first to get burned
Their screams a feast
which my distorted soul yearns
The screams, oh the screams
delicious aren't they all
Of the tormented, the broken
those on the brink of the fall
A scream filled with anguish
bottled pain no one would understand
Battling the terrors in her messed up head
Invisible attackers with voices of lead
Voices of steel that cut into her flesh

In a few words:
Saddness
Emptiness
Numb
Wanting to sleep
To not go through the day
Facing my thoughts
Of indecisiveness
Of doubt
Of guilt and hurt
Knowing I'm going to see the same smile
That made my heart flutter
That made me smile
Yet I'm not sure now what that smile will do to me
I close my eyes
Thinking of those smiles
How they brightened his eyes
Made my heart flutter
Made me want to take him in my arms
To kiss those soft lips creating that beautiful smile
I look into the forever dark night sky...

Escape
Running , Running, Running
trying to get away
But she can't
She can't escape the demons that chase her
Always following her every move
Trapped within the confines of her mind
Everyday she smiles
The picture of joy
No one knows that she's cracking
That she's breaking
No one sees the tears that she cries
when she's alone
That soak her pillow
on endless, sleepless nights
No one sees the marks on her arms
From the moments she loses control
Clawing at herself, her arms, her head
Tearing and pulling at her hair
to get away...

But she can't
She can't escape the demons that chase her
Always following her every move

Death by Love
Walking down the hall one day
and what does she see?
Him kissing another girl
so passionately
It breaks her heart
Shattering it completely
She’s frozen in that spot
as it replays before her eyes
Remembering the looks on those faces
When she used to have been in that girls’ place
She had that same blush
That same flush
When he kissed her own lips
With that same such heated hastiness
She drops her things
And falls to the ground
