Icy fingers and Icy Toes
Lungs burning as the frozen air reaches them stunning them like a tazer
I stumble trying to make it to the shelter before the blasted air freezes me alive
My hat and mittens I lost lik those poor little kittens in a child nursery rhythm
My mind scolding me like their mother had for I shall never have no pie
Icy fingers and my icy toes hurt as I continue to climb through the mountains of white
Pure pure white snow swirling and Dancing around looking so beautiful
Looks are deceiving for this Pure pure white snow is murdering me slowly
Icy fingers and icy toes...

The Dawn
Silence surrounds me as I stand in the darkness of the overnight
Staring towards the east waiting for a glimpse of light
Lack of sleep bites my eyes forgive been up all night
I can not sleep not with the PTSD that swarms in my dreams
So I refrain myself from drifting into a slumber and wait for the dawn
The rosy pink starts to transform the sky as I shiver in the cold
A golden light will soon begin to glow making me whisper "Stay Gold Ponyboy Stay Gold."
A deep violet purple swirls above the pink and gold fighting to keep its rank
Knockout round three...

How dare you say I've never bee suicidal
You wouldn't know because you aren't me
You'll never understand the hurt and pain you cause denying my struggle
You weren't the one to break through my bedroom door as I was hanging
