Thank you. Pino Daeni was a phenomenal painter. I'll be using a lot more of his in the future. They capture an essence of emotion that I like to visually convey along with the written posts.

Aspecting the Cosmos: Sunday, Oct 01, 2023: Happy October and Beautiful Change!

Morning calls for faith in ourselves. An Earthy, Taurus moon requires the emotional grounding. With a Lunar opposition to Ceres, and two Lunar inconjuncts to the Sun and Pallas, our identity is going to be challenged by our thoughts. We may feel unappreciated, unneeded, unnurtured. How Can we nurture and appreciate ourselves without expectations or demands on others? Balance is restored through an adjustment of gratitude for growth opportunities through contrast.

Shortly after noon, the Sun will conjunct Pallas in the 11th House, the natural home of Aquarius representing goals, friends, hopes and wishes, and love received. Our sense of self-identity and worth are restored. Did we recognize unhealthy patterns and adjust them earlier to genuine gratitude? Now comes wisdom and creative craft!

Late this evening, Mercury in Virgo will inconjunct the North Node in Aries. Do we find it difficult to communicate our desires? Writing can ease any pressure to express ourselves. Twelve minutes later the Moon will conjunct Jupiter in the 12th House, representing limitations, frustration, hidden strength and our subconscious mind. Our emotional resolve will be tested. Did we learn this morning, or did we just ride out the storm through demands on others to appease our needs? Whatever the answer, it will be expanded by Jupiter into new venues of wisdom and abundance, or limitation and frustration until the lesson is learned.

Don't worry. It will come round again.

The Zen Enso

The beauty of imperfection (Wabi-Sabi)
The open or incomplete circle represents the beauty of imperfection, while when the circle is whole, it represents the idea of perfection. The symbol in Buddhism can also be interpreted as the desire for perfection, but the recognition that the universe is the always the way that it is and thus it is perfect in each moment.

Weekly Oracle Forecast, Oct 01-07: No 08. SCORPIO—Investigate

Note: This week Mars in Libra will conjunct the South Node Wed @ 11:52 AM, 11th House, a house of group relationships and social consciousness representing goals, friends, hopes and wishes, love received, and circumstances beyond our control. The South Node is what we have brought into the life from a previous one. How this affects us is dependent upon our evolutionary degree. More on this Wednesday.

Scorpio asks us to dive down and reach into the wellspring of our soul. Its symbols are the Eagle and the Scorpion, as this sign invokes both the soaring heights of the Eagle's perspective and the Scorpions ability to burrow under the rocks of the site or culture.

The fixed water sign Scorpio is ruled by Mars in traditional astrology and coruler Pluto in modern astrology. This card is very significant this week because tomorrow both ruling planets will play significant roles in the heavens: Mars will detonate the South Node ( think trip wire ), which activates Pluto's ongoing square to the Nodes. I was not the LEAST bit surprised when this card presented.

Scorpio is connected to the pelvis and to the root chakra. This card is asking us to drop assumptions and ask questions. Be fascinated by a mystery, not afraid of its depth. Dive deep into the well rather than settle for the surface. Look under rocks and be curious as this situation is going to require some research.

Take nothing at face value.

Probe the conscious and unconscious passions that motivate this situation. Be aware of the sexual dynamics in the room and what role they play. Look at worst case scenarios so you can prepare and then feel safe enough to search for the best-case scenario. Be ready to transform and transmute the situation. Distill the essence. Concentrate.

Play our cards close to our chest. It's time to gather information. Get the facts, work with that material and introspect. Listen to both the facts and to our own intuition, rather than to other people's opinions. Share only when we are ready.

Appreciate moments alone. If we learn to be comfortable alone, we will have more bargaining power in relationships. Within the depths of our soul is our connection to the infinite. Search for it.

Our challenge is to question everything, including our own concerns. Jealousy and possessiveness can drain our energy and waste our time before triggering our defenses—the Scorpion Sting—ask if that response will get us what we actually need.

Our gift is transformation. Scorpio loans us the strength and curiosity to Plumb the depths and face our monsters, then soar to new heights and transform the situation. Feel the well within that connects to the collective source.

Aspecting the Cosmos, Mon, Oct 02, 2023:

Around lunchtime, a Lunar conjunction with Uranus occurs in Taurus, Sixth House, the natural home of Virgo ruled by Mercury, representing our health, habits, work, pets, service, and unconscious mind. In this house, health and work are linked.

We may experience emotional moodiness and a freedom urge to break the rules, lean toward something magical rather than expected routine.

Early afternoon the Taurian Moon inconjuncts Mars in Libra, signaling the need for an adjustment. We may have to accept where we are at the moment. In acceptance lieth peace. Four minutes later, the Moon sesquiquadrate Pallas in Libra, producing an abrasive, emotional energy. Pallas, goddess of wisdom and warcraft, reminds us that she never attacks, only defends; therefore, careful how we treat others, and above all, utilize wisdom.

Midafternoon, the Libran Sun sesquiquadrate the Moon, fueling emotional conflict. Breathe. If the heat becomes too hot, retreat into a quiet place for a few minutes and meditate to collect our thoughts. Weigh the balance. Will the means justify the end by serving the greater good?

Tonight, the Moon trine Pluto in Capricorn, replacing emotional tension with cooperation and flow. This time our heart says, we can get lost in the energy without worrying about taking advantage of it. After all, our emotions have had a tumultuous ride and the battle is done for the day.

Tomorrow comes when it comes, and we'll be ready.

What I point out to you is only that you shouldn't allow yourselves to be confused by others. Act when you need to, without further hesitation or doubt.
People today can't do this- what is their affliction? Their affliction is in their lack of self-confidence.
If you do not spontaneously trust yourself sufficiently, you will be in a frantic state, pursuing all sorts of objects and being changed by those objects, unable to be independent.

I agree. The lack of self-confidence has been the death of many a personal calling. Thank you for sharing.

Aspecting the Cosmos, Tue, Oct 03:  Midafternoon Mercury in Virgo trine Pluto Rx in Capricorn. Mercury's actions can be quick, uncertain, and volatile. Known as Hermes in Greek mythology, he oversees medicine and can be a swift and protective interceptor in disguise, delivering "a talisman against every kind of mischief" to Odysseus, granting immunity against the goddess Circe's evil spell.

Mercury is dignified in Virgo and gets straight to the heart of reason. Pluto in Capricorn facilitates that expression in a clear, concise, and no holds barred manner by examining the integrity of political, commercial, legal, and religious establishments, as well as our definitions of them. A shadow allegiance and its obvious truth is exposed. Sudden epiphany. Shocking discovery. A truth we may not have been ready for.

Around dinner time, exalted Taurus Moon will trine Pallas in Libra, bringing grounded, emotional stability and emotionally balanced wisdom. Roughly 30 minutes after, the Moon will sesquiquadrate a detrimental Mars in Libra. This is an abrasive aspect; therefore, we may experience emotional instability and impatience. Maybe that discovery, epiphany, or truth has materialized in our lives.

As Mars is weakened in Libra and must conform to her rules of harmony and balance; however, Libra also represents the scales of justice, and may fuel the warrior into action because right on the heels of this energy, the exalted Moon is going to semisquare the North Node in Aries while sesquiquadrate the South Node in Libra. This is a reactive aspect. We need to take extreme care how we proceed. There's karma at play here with the South Node involved. We have an opportunity to break a pattern - don't resist.

Weigh how we would've reacted in the past, and how we should RESPOND now.

We end the evening with the fallen Libran Sun trine the exalted Taurian Moon. Hopefully we learned the lesson and took another step toward our destiny. Flow in the form of balance and harmony should flood our sleep and dreams.

Tomorrow, a detrimental Mars in Libra will conjunct the South Node ( SN ) in Libra @ 11:52 AM. I am posting today because we have a big planetary transit tomorrow and I don't like posting too much information on the same day. This conjunction deserves a bit more attention since Karma is at play here.

This conjunction happens in the 11th House, a house of relationships and social consciousness representing goals, friends, hopes and wishes, love received, and circumstances beyond our control. [ Don't forget to run your biwheel to determine the house this conjunction happens for you personally. ]

Try as he might, Mars cannot push Venusian-ruled Libra about in her own house. He must submit his aggressive urge for action to her timing. Libra reflects balance and harmony, no matter the cost. This means if a war is required to bring about peace, then so be it, as long as it's an honorable one. With the God of War transiting her home, strategic planning is at the ready.

To understand the nodes better, we need to envision the NN as the Head of the Dragon: the point of taking in, while the SN is the Tail of the Dragon: the point of giving out or egesting. But we are not releasing what the NN is currently taking, we are releasing what is already within us from past lives: knowledge, ideas, attitudes, patterns, and morals. This can be frightening because it requires us to step out of our comfort zone. This is where the threshold of change lies: we either step into the unknown bravely, or we take the easy way out and curl up inside our nest.

Next we need to understand the function of a conjunction, the most powerful aspect there is because it's point-blank range of two or three planets, typically within the same sign ( though not always ). The principle characteristic is that it emphasizes the sign the planets occupy. This energy affects us directly on an outer and obvious level. However, it's not positive or negative in it's influence. Libra represents harmony and balance offset by her shadow side of apathetic and achieving peace at any cost.

So we can see that whichever energy we embrace is what is going to obviously affect us. Collectively, the NN is currently in Aries, ruled by Mars; therefore, Mars-ruled Aries can provide the ambition and desire to sail into the unknown seas of destiny. In Libra, Mars can provide courage and strength in a gentler manner than if he was dignified in Scorpio. When we offset courage with the harmony and balance Libra offers, this can be a very pleasant experience, albeit still unnerving. The unknown always is.

Within the 11th House, the natural home of Aquarius ruled by Uranus, we can get lost in progressive vision balanced with logical intellect and actualize our dreams and goals. Our head is in the clouds while our hearts are planted in Love. It's a beautiful opportunity to move forward by utilizing the available energies: strength and courage balanced with judicial diplomacy.

Aspecting the Cosmos, Wed, Oct 04, 2023: A bumpy morning evolves into a door of deep healing.

Mercury, anaratic in Virgo, is anxious to move on into Libra. Prior to departing he's forming a sesquiquadrate with Jupiter Rx in Taurus.  Communication may be sluggish, words thick on our tongue that we can't seem to expel. Shortly thereafter, Moon in Gemini sextile Chiron in Aries. This is the beautiful doorway to emotional healing within ourselves or with others. Reach out to someone we may have hurt or offended and offer sincere amends. Or, if we are the ones offended or hurt, don't allow pride to stand in the way of reconciliation.

As posted today, a Libran Mars will conjunct the South Node. You can read that post here: http://inspiritualservice.com/celestial-events

Roughly 10 minutes after the conjunct Mars will form an opposition to the North Node in Aries. It's the final aspect of the day and challenges us to grow toward and achieve our destiny. As mentioned in the Mars/SN conjunction, the NN is the head of the Dragon, ingesting all those things we need to release from the SN, or Tail of the Dragon, from past lives.

The question to ask ourselves is what we need to adjust so that polar opposites can reunite? An opinion? A lifestyle? An emotion? Each person's answer will be different based on their own past and present experiences. But one thing remains the same: we are ALL are being challenged to release outdates modes of thinking and patterns of being in order to receive the ones designated for us in this life.

Lastly, after all the anticipation, Mercury finally moves into Libra @ 8:09 PM EDT. Post forthcoming or you can get a sneak peak here:  http://inspiritualservice.com/planetary-transits
