I've been on an 80's music kick lately big time. Playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City a lot lately got me in the old nostalgic mood for it big time. Can't believe how many of the songs I've been listening to lately were on the radio so much when I was a teenager! Or how many 70's songs were on it when I was little. Definitely brings me back, all that. I have to say, rap was a lot more upbeat back then... the whole tone of rap really changed big time once the 90's hit and a lot of the themes became darker and more serious, more about real life and in particular the harder aspects of life. I'm not the biggest fan of rap, but 80's rap I do have a fondness for. Especially the Fresh Prince! Parents Just Don't Understand, Nightmare on My Street, and all those classic songs. Fun stuff! :D
