Is it me
am i becoming
so simple
in my thinking
that i don't understand
that within our Species
within our tribe
of upright walking apes
there are groups of people
who are called
people of color
when i ask
who are these people
everybody says
people who are not white
i just can't
get my head around that
how can it be
when their born
they are one color
when they grow

when they die
they are one color
how can they be

another group of people

Thomas Lane, one of four police officers charged in Floyd's death, posted bail of $750,000 and was released from the Hennepin County Jail, with conditions, shortly after 4 pm on Wednesday.
