it's newest home

I'm fragile
new to
this delicate
glowing
light upon
my face
Potentially
angelic grace
or
How lucent duality
compounds
My once blinded
shadow'd
existence
newly bright,
gleaming
whimsical essence
that surrounds
You have stimulated
a thought long gone
olfactory
reacted
The very smell of you—
incandescently drawn
Sweetest wildflower scents
thrill my
subconsciousness;
Tendrils of my mind
arouse
memories reminisce
Oh this overload
to all the senses

hard knocks

open wound
uncovered eye

for all starboard

the opposite
no magic tricks
