It seems to me that the main task of the poet is the use of a word that provokes the movement of social thought. I am sure that such examples of prose https://eduzaurus.com/free-essay-samples/social-issues/ or social poetry should make young people believe in the equality of people. We shouldn't divide each other or sort by rank. We are people who love each other.

I am often curious as to why the desire to honor the accomplishments of minorities is often viewed as division by the majority whenever such honoring is suggested. *

* Not assuming the quoted poster is in the majority. But, the majority of resistance always seems to come from the general majority of the populus.

He's copied me verbatim, as well as the poster I quoted. I am just confused as to why he would hide our posts and then paste us verbatim? Or did I post in another thread? I don't think so, unless the other thread is de-prioritized and hidden on the list.

Thus. . .

I don’t think the thought should be discounted altogether. we are after all in the new world. created not from conquer or conquest. a populous without flesh, bone or pigment

if ever there was a chance for us to just do, just be. this is it.

that said, it’s complicated, obviously we don’t fold our lives neatly into a box before we come here, and the two worlds are inextricably linked

we carry things with us. flags, ideals, history, culture etc so it’s probably reality-less to think we can integrate ourselves to the full potential offered

I can understand a level of apathy, I don’t think that’s a bad thing. also don’t think there’s anything wrong with highlighting the talents of poets through competition or thread. through language, or culture, or shared hardships, joy, gender or whatever.

The posts were posted on the wrong thread. so I copied them over to the right one. I left a note on the other thread for a couple of mins before I hid them

Oh right. I have no idea where it was posted; I just responded.

Okay, heads up next time! I'm 61 years old for god's sake! You'll make me think I'm senile!

i think there’s a generational difference in how we see the internet as a whole, tbh. for old timers it’s still a budding brave new world full of possibilities. for millennials like me and younger it’s a daily commute.

thank you lepperochan me man

(not to incite “divide” or any such thing by the way)

There's a bit of truth to that; however, once you've been using it for over two decades ( regardless of age ) it's just another thang. It loses a great deal of its magic when it's part of work as well.

Though I will always find magical things as a part of it.
