from darkness comes the light (and hopefully air conditioning)

power still out,
darkness will soon turn towards the dawn
Eta was all wet talk and small bluster balk
moved through quickly
only to find her lose her mighty
now—
I still, in the last of the darkness
only a heartbeat ~ sweat drops speak
waiting [always waiting]
for mine, not to be thine own
amongst darkness,
shown
a plea.. she cries!
harken for those cooling sighs
