Love Me Naked
Love Me Naked
Can you love me naked withholding nothing but love from my heart
Holding everything together when everything seem to be falling apart
Can you love me in and out of time
The naked truth is hidden inside of you
Never withhold the truth
When love is in the midst
Because feelings are involve
Can you love me when I am naked
All of my insecurities
All of my flaws
My darkest secrets are exposed
Can you love me with everything you got
Love is real when it is coming from the heart
Letting go of pass hurt and pain
Not letting tears fall like rain
When things are falling apart
Everything else is coming together
Like the sun up in the sky
The stars shining so bright
Like a light that sun shine
When you are naked
Everything is out in the open
So can you still love me with all of my baggage
Love me naked
Love me to the end of time
Love me pass my pain
Hold me close never letting me go
Like a cool winter breeze
Do you still love me naked
Do you still love me naked
Can you love me naked withholding nothing but love from my heart
Holding everything together when everything seem to be falling apart
Can you love me in and out of time
The naked truth is hidden inside of you
Never withhold the truth
When love is in the midst

A Bout of Melancholy
There is a vague timeline
In this earthly transition
looking at the ticking clock
counting the seconds
Am I that afraid of the darkness
Of an unknown beyond
Well, nothing promised nothing gained
I look into the mirror
Where beauty once resided
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
they say but no, not this decline
forever is just a word
Nobody have returned and told
where forever resides
So do I wait for death
Or expect the unexpected
Things happen for a reason
So they say…
but not aging pain and demise
or is it?
I refuse to seep in melancholy
So let me think positively
A good beginning
makes a good ending
may not apply to me
the beginning was terrible
the same ending…
o help me Lord!
Better to have loved and lost,
than never to have loved at all
that’s positive
lost my love to lost love
His not mine
She returned…..
Positive indeed.
I give up
Tick Tock
I’m counting
Definitely not sheep.

Inside This Frightful Figure
Grew up with an awkward orientation
That people take simple people for granted
Simple men are used, bruised and abused
And that was far from what I wanted
I needed to be loved and respected
But the odds tipped otherwise
For fear of being molested
I brought to life this other side
A smile-less mean man
A cold fellow with no feelings
That is the mask I wear
In all of my dealings
So I have chased so far from me
All of those who would love to be close
It gets a little boring though
To be someone no one knows
Yet if they were to see beyond the superficial
Beyond my self-made borders
They will find a tender me deep down
As sweet as a lump of sugar

concepts of beauty
Eyes like stars
But she finds them too dull
Luscious ruby lips
Not full enough
Smooth curves, hourglass figure
Waist not thin enough, thighs without a gap
She shapes her body to the magazines
Cutting out the pieces that don’t fit
She covers her face with makeup
To hide her faults, her true skin
She wears long sleeves
To hide her scars
Chemicals sink into her pores
But they won’t make her look like the models on TV
Her scars can’t be seen but she still feels them
They’re etched deep into her silk skin
She can’t unsee her true face in the mirror
As she rips off her toxic mask.
She would pay anything
She would bleed
To change this imperfectly perfect face
The beautiful image that she cannot see
Rip the flaws from her skin
Replace it with society’s accepted standard of beauty.
Her body is defective in her own eyes
Blemished, torn, faulty
She has dreams of envy stained faces glaring at
Her as she elegantly strides away into a world they could
Never touch, a place distant from her own reality.
Her skinny heart may taint that
Stunning body she’s carving out from her body
What if the world changed to make her beautiful
What if she was taught the soul is as beautiful as
A figure with the right curves. Mirrors have broken
Humanity, the distortion of true beauty by lust filled eyes
Have irreparably drowned flourishing souls
She’ll wake up in the dying winters of her youth
And realize, these concepts of beauty never
Saw the heart of her. They couldn’t see
through her perfect, unblemished skin
But she finds them too dull
Luscious ruby lips

Naked Soul
Darling, anyone can fall in love with my
Body, smile, words and everything about me,
But can you fall in love with the tears I cry?
Look past just taking off my clothes and see
The insecurities that I try to hide within
My naked soul. You want to set me free,
But I am trying to be comfortable in my skin.
I have scars and battle wounds you do not know
About, but I am trying to not live in sin
Or in the past. The demons want to show
You everything and try to betray my trust,
But darling you have to be willing to throw
Everything away from my previous life. You must
Get to know the woman who is baring herself to
You now and who has rebuilt herself from the dust
Instead of the girl who was too afraid to love you.
I was too scared to want everything and anything.
My heart is never too easy to crack open. My blue
Sky is never simple to understand. You hold the string
Which I am terrified that you are going to let go of and
You will be searching for the next greatest thing
Or person while you are no longer going to stand
Guard of my latest secrets. I should have confidence
In you to not let them spill into someone else’s hand.

Love Me Naked
Scars reach for the ground like lightning striking home.
A busted can of biscuits falling to the floor
20 years of abuse, misuse, and neglect
causing tears to run
and eyes evade.
How can someone love something so terribly beautiful?
Stretch marks measuring the number of times I've created love,
little balls of love hiding away for months
until finally delivered after hours of pain,
into this cruel world of political dispute,
gender roles,
and beauty standards.
Unable to live up to them
despite the starvation of one eager individual.
Beauty is pain,
And pain is everything
everything needed to remember that you are living.
that I am living.
What is beauty?
What is pain?
What is this life of a beautiful body
if I can't be beautifully naked?
Beautifully okay with being beautifully naked.
Painfully Beautifully Naked and Painfully able to love it.

My guts are spilled and strewn across the walls of your mind
Every twist and turn built in the bloody walls of my mental maze I unwind
I have cleared the path to my soul for you alone
This love for you I have never felt nor shown
My soul is going to show for you to read
Every good and every bad deed
So tell me please what you see
I await your criticism, dont worry what it does to me
I drew the last scar into my skin years ago
There is no criticism you could give to let that pain again show
My shield I hold like a viking
Not caring if its built to your liking
Trained to be a warrior at an early age
But the goodness of my light inside they never caged
Beaten and bruised so much by those I love
To me your words even if harsh are like sweet messages from a dove
For I have met versions of myself a many times
And I could never explain with any amount of rhymes
How shattered I feel here naked in front of you
Built by those pieces, mended by my God's glue
And with the bloody pieces of my insides that you see
I ask you to return my feeling and love me
For I yearn to know how it feels
To have another soul love me naked and not run from what they see

Naked
I have a Harvard degree
I sit down to pee
I’m a grand master at chess
I don’t make a mess
I sing Jazz and blues
I could sing you the news
I don’t smoke cigarettes or dugs
I’m not afraid of mice or bugs
I’m a champion at trivial pursuit
A virtuoso on the flute
I’m a wonderful chef
My palates not clef
The life and soul of the party
I’m well read and arty
I’m funny and witty
I don’t want your pity
I’m female and pretty
Yet you treat me shitty
everyone knows I’m really star rated, but;
Why is it you only love me, when I’m naked

you only love me when I'm naked
You only see me when I take clothes off
You don't see me when I'm naked with vulnerability
You don't see me when I take the mask off
You see the things you want to see
Then turn a blind eye to me
You only the see the things you need
But never what I want
You only love me when I'm naked
You only like me when I take my clothes off

Naked I Stand
The real me has no clothes
To hide my flaws and wrinkles
To compensate, my face has smiles
And both my eyes have twinkles
My body still functions
Although with age it's slow
I can still be intimate
And make the juices flow.
The inner me is more complex
Bearing scars of life's traumas;
Luckily I have not faced
Any serious abuse or dramas
I try to be generous and kind
I'm told I have a golden heart
I stand by my friends
Mutual help to impart.

Naked True Love
Is it easier to love me naked
My body all aglow?
When I see you naked
My vital organs grow.
But further in, is the real me;
My sincerity is deep;
I love you as a person
Whose love I wish to keep.
My body may attract you,
As yours does for me,
But our minds must come together
And be in harmony
Is it easier to love me naked
My body all aglow?

Raise in Praise
CYCLE IV: AIR
Bunch grass cathedral pray'rs, our sanctify.
Bright sun, as still as church, and Blazes' hot.
The dunes, our commune sacrament apply.
We, prostrate, naked, praise our god’s begot.
Once beachly crofts relenting worships’ bend,
Exerts, the Host and Holy Wine’s encase.
In service’ genuflecting, rhythm blends;
Our kneeling’s grace and fill of Holy Place.
When offers splash on tabernacle’s ark,
In melting stuff, gift sacrificial spill,
The sea’s divine procession’s chill embark.
We rise to winds’ afresh, brought with god’s will;
Arms spread, as celebrants before the creche,
To wade Pacific fount’s baptize refresh.

Two Naked Poets
Within my nakedness implied
By words I whisper as I sit astride,
Entreat the heart for you to hold
The list of doubts to heal from & be whole.
The part I make myself most bare
Is put my trust in you & hope you care
Of all else that takes precedence
From these to try and finally make more sense.
You know yourself the risk I take;
It was with me you placed your trust to make,
And ever since that fateful day
Locked doors are flung aside to show the way.
'Twas early on when we first met
You told your story and then made a bet;
Of drink, abuse & suicide,
That keeping nothing from me I'd decide.
And in a flash I knew right then
I'd want to stay, & be more than your friend.
Each day I've been & stood my ground,
You've helped with answers to my story found.
Though we must sleep in separate beds
Denuded each of us from final threads,
We never judge our covered books
Instead we open wide to anxious looks.
To think of me a lover strong
Who often struggles when she gets it wrong,
But just like me you understand;
We do much more, two poets, hearts in hand.
Rhyme scheme: A/A/B/B
Syllabic line count per stanza: 8/10/8/10
