I’d like to thank Ahavati for her inspiration and encouragement, I would not have entered without it. I would also like to thank all the participants in this competition. I got daily inspiration from everyone and that was a huge help in keeping going and finishing.
Thank you everyone

Thank you, David! Believe me when I say, I wouldn't have had it to give had it not been for my Co-Host, the Amazing Mr. Blaze (& Co) encouraging me. We pass on what we receive, ya know?! I have no idea how he co-hosted this comp, wrote 150 poems, and kept me motivated and inspired to keep you guys going!
You did AMAZING, David! as did everyone! We are so honored and can't wait for 2018!
Speaking of, TO ALL PARTICIPANTS!
Your assessment of this year's challenge is most welcome and may be quoted in future advertisements as a means of recruiting more participants in the 2018 DUP NaPoWriMo

And I'm sure it can be arranged that "links back to your profile" can be made to accompany said "assessments" should they be broadcasted here or on the Facebook nudge nudge winkie winkie.

I just wish, that private invite thru private message next time would be doable. Sometimes Forum Catch up escaped notice.
But that would be asking for too much no? You can only do so much and you are doing great. Not unless, it can be generated...

How to piss off Ahavati:
1. Not following the rules.
2. Not accepting praise.
Sentence to transgressors: a sheer bollocking and rollocking. You have been warned!
In my previous post I used the word 'patronising' when that was definitely not the right word. (Thought a poet would know the right word when needed!) What I meant was that this competition has been a thorough challenge, so praise and congratulations to all who entered into it, there have been some extremely poignant and mind-blowing pieces.
And having said that, I did not personally feel I fell into the same category: mostly smoozing inspiration off the rest and entering weird rambling pieces following no real form.
Josh, your Terzanelle form is not just complex but enacted with a skill, I simply cannot fathom.
So I did not want a pat on the back for what I feel were a lot of sub-par pieces in the light of the masterpieces other people entered, and continuously entered. Perhaps I should have just smiled, accepted the praise, and not tried to second-guess the outcome. Maybe then this update would not be necessary.
Thank you Ahavati and JohnnyBlaze for all the work, effort, and motivation you poured into this competition and us. I was a fool to not just keep quiet and be thanked, Operation Humble rather backfired. You continuously pushed and motivated us to greater heights and depths, so you (2, 3, 4+ ?) of all of us definitely need to be thanked and a round of applause. So thank you again Ahavati, and JohnnyBlaze, and Co.

LMAO!! It wasn't THAT bad! Just...honest.
I know it seems like you can't win, but you did and have the trophy to prove it!

You're welcome, Viddax! It was an honor and pleasure to have you in board. We were both blown away with your self-imposed 100 word limit, Mr. Blaze even remarked you deserved two trophies for that. And I agree.
You did an amazing job despite what you personally think of yourself.
We'll see you next year!

Because my posts were all a part of a singular body of work, it was truncated due to some word count thingie. Therefore, my intention was just to hide it rather than split it up with two separate posts, or have an incomplete work posted. After all, 'A half-read [poem] is a half-finished love affair.' (David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas)
Our Webmiss wasn't satisfied with that, and used some text tool beyond my comprehension to correct it! And, because a few have asked for the final installments, here it is! Thanks to all for their encouragement and support!

Hello Ahavati,
I have just spent a wondrous 40 minutes reading your all-in-one NaPoWriMo contribution from beginning to end in one sitting - an experience both humbling and uplifting.
The reflexivity of your account of life's journey is quite precious and brave, and read like a sacrificial offering to the world - to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
An intriguing 'genesis' account in the language of science and meta-physics, through a child's mind-experience of being shunted through various schools (at home and abroad) to adolescent awakenings reflectively laid waste to the normed routines of adult life and then all collapsed into an invocation in the search for real life and deep meaning. And then from that place of being moulded by fire and surrendering to a true vocation, to make your contribution relieving one aspect/part of the world's pain. I honour your journey from the depths of my soul.
May you be greatly blessed.
Josh

Great billboard announcing the participants!
This was a great writing experience ... Now the real fun begins, going back to edit the pieces worthy of a second look.

Is that how long it takes?! I wondered. I haven't gone back through yet; I really needed a breather after 30 days being handcuffed in bed with it. Sheesh...
I truly appreciate your time and attention to this. I realise it's lengthy ( and much unfinished ), so to spend that much of your time on it is an honor for me ( especially when you could've read half a dozen others ).
I'm humbled by your interpretation, and blessed in having met you along my journey, Josh.
Namaste. 🙏
