Miss a day ... lose a limp.

You gotta be gangsta to be a poet ... and sexy.

That's right, AL my buddy ole pal.

The clock is ticking, but isn't it already April 1st somewhere in the world??? Who knows.  I'm so busy brainstorming up idears to write about, I don't even know what time it is where I'm at.

Do we have to put a new post each day for each poem, or can we make a weekly post and keep editing with each new day's poem, for a multi-poem post?

al, my skaapie, will you be gracing us with an afrikaans poem?

This is a final refresher regarding the the most critical of rules.

Your entries must be Titled and aside from the Title, must contain a minimum of 50 different words.

Abandon all notions of skating through April on Haikus and Limericks or simply repeating the same words again and again like lyrical choruses just to satisfy the word count.

Yes; you must post one poem per day in THIS thread so I can keep a tally of your daily posts, and Johnny will be checking the unique word count.

I know you weren't referring to actually editing the poem; however, to reiterate, no one is allowed to return to edit any posts in this thread. These are raw NaPoWriMo poems. We are not looking at spelling or grammar. All we are looking at will be the poem itself regarding a minimum of 10 lines with 50 unique words.

We will be offering critiques in the series after this challenge to anyone wishing to hone their posts. Or, you can also post to your personal DUP/facebook/blog/whatever page each day and edit to your heart's content.

I KNOW it's April 1st somewhere in the world! Who is going to kick us off?!

Every poem must be in its own post and there will be no editing of posts allowed.

You can submit the same poems to your personal DU portfolio and edit them there at your leisure.

We want your originals here.

Good luck to everyone participating, still debating if I'm going to or not.

This challenge will discipline you to write daily.  It's not about perfection.  It's not about spelling or grammar. It's about creating a daily habit of writing no matter what.

Perhaps, but I have a lot going on at the moment, it is likely I'll miss some days.
