Overnight At The Mall
Poetry Contest Description
You've been accidentally locked in at a large shopping mall, and must spend the night there until they open the place up in the morning---how are you going to spend your time?
How did you end up getting locked in the mall? Anyone with you? What are you going to do, to pass the time until security lets you out in the morning---find somewhere to sleep, or let loose and take advantage of your incredible luck of having the place to yourself? Party Ferris Bueller-style, or will you behave yourself? Tell all about it in a poem or prose any style, one week, no collabs, as many entries as you want, have fun! 
~THe night locked up~
Me and him
A date and one night
now we are trapped alone
cameras
well lets give them a show
Aberocrambie
we put on some clothes on
and watched as he took them off alowly
then fuck on the counter

Mini skirts, weird toys, body paint
had to make the best of it
I was trapped
thinking me and him were suppose to be
food court we took a break
and then explored
we broke into
all the doors that were locked
screamed as our voices eckoed
The empty mall
god damn it
Its morning
we hear a door
we hide
and then collide
one last time

Toys For The Rich
I'd grab a few soft pretzels
and make myself a smoothie
head to The Sharper Image
and spend the night in style
relaxing in a massage chair
that costs more than a year at the spa
watching a television I can talk to
as magnetic pulses soothe my aching back
I'd write poems with my eyes closed
while a robot took dictation
and brew coffee in a machine that
uses computer precision on every bean
I'd play with gadgets that
I wouldn't dream of buying
to see what too much money felt like
but I'd be glad to leave in the morning
and get back to what matters

The smell of ammonia
in the food court wiped
Tara off my mind and when
I saw the cleaning service
van through the glass doors
driving off into the darkness
I realized I was alone
in a mall closed for the night.
My tracfone charge died
earlier in the evening
trying to salvage the remains
of the relationship but salvation
was not in the cards so I had zombied
to the scene of so many petty crimes
to steal some Robutussin, a card,
chocolates and a silver bracelet.
The cough medicine got me numb
enough to wander aimlessly and lose
everything I stole till I crashed
in front of a McDonalds .
The bathrooms were locked
so I pissed in my pants trying
to figure how to circumvent
the metal gates shuttering
Dick’s sporting goods and get
a shotgun and a bullet to shoot
my way out of this retail abyss
and into a hell more of my liking.
