LONELINESS

The girl with everything

The girl with everything
but nothing inside
no reason to live
no reason to cry
everything in the world
but no love to call her own
she can't help this feeling
of being alone.
Those tears of hers
are they for real?
If she cried some more
maybe she'll heal.
It's hard to be happy
but some how try
because those who make you smile
also make you cry.
So for the girl with everything
but nothing inside
she's ready to give up
ready to die.
While searching for feelings
to call her own
she decided
she'd rather be dead
then alone.

She puts the single portions of food she is purchasing on the conveyor belt. The handsome clerk sees this and asks." Single portions of all of these foods may I ask you a question"? The lonely eyes perked up then say" Yes. Ask away". Then he asks her "Are you single"? Blushing she replies " Yes I am single how did you know"? The handsome clerk replies "Because you're ugly".

quicksand in the lonly dark
looking at these four walls- all dark
testing time- see if it stops
every minute an hour
time just blocks

what to do when everythings been done
watch tv -its all reruns
readings fun and wild-
it'd be better without this rock on my collar

playing around with my mind and soul
cabin fever in this baking a lever
in my toiled overboiled distraught pychee-what a toll

tick tock is the batteries out
from the clock over there--it gets so so lonely in here
i go outside hoping a sunbeam to catch
but like a fast running reel- clouds abreast

i cannot catch a break my life it will take
if a moment longer i stay- my knees so ever quake
getting outside is a marathon for me
no friends have i- me with no family

every day i come home to an empty tomb
lost in the clouds that are brooming to soon
to the rhyme and reason -sanity grasping straws
my mind like a chicken egg- burnt on the bottom-top sunnyside

smiling a cry on the inside
hoping some day to die
laughing happily. no one will ever know
insanity or happy; laughing like a Joker Man
