Here ye, here ye, the Lady has passed
A minutes violence please for the Baroness
just look to your left then punch whomever you see
an act totally befitting her memory.
This was a lady of no pretense
even though she took elocution lessons
to stop sounding like the grocer's daughter
when she waged war on the common folk
and she always stood up or what was right
be it Pinochet, Kmer Rouge or apartheid
her compassion was beyond reproach
as seen
when she ordered the sinking of The Belgrano
ah yes, what a gal
went to bed with Reagan
before it was cool to be America's lackey
bombed fuck out of Lybia
then wondered why they sent supplies
for payback

Globally…these fat cats
They’re justa bunch of Reality Benders
One-Percent’ers, the Official Wall Street Defenders
These Economic Up-Enders asking,
“How now is My Dow with a Jones?”
Huddled in their lairs, they call ‘em condos
A whole lot better than most poor folks homes
These Grand-heads, kicked back with their pet Feds
Marketing them meds; Chemicals blocking any & all just due ridicule
Each new pharmaceutical. High on ‘em, some of us rely on ‘em
It’s how they rule; the labor, the debt, part of their kit
All of it… like thread off a spool
Serving as the System’s Fuel; saying,
“Don’t worry The Prez is still cool” while the Press?
“It’s still a functioning tool”
They could care less about an Elephant or a Mule
But tell me? Who in the hell do you really think rule?
What cliff?
Meaning the B.S. we gotta sift?
Fat cats with dough? For them…that’s a NO Go..
Gravity? We must be reaping what they sow
I’m saying for them it’ll still be a plateau
Probably with a few extra more lawns to mow
Fat cats & their measured bits of cakewalking
Find ‘em stressed? Fact is that’ll be them out there fake talking
The real dope sighting their desire for that platinum
Out & about exploiting trying to get some
These fat wankers, the worst ones
They’ll be into whatever their eyes be admiring
Living large holding onto pink slips with their options for firing
Fat cats with their plans; having it they’re way everyday
Each turned page totally engaged in another payday
Busy in more ways than one…their tactics:
Get money-get it done
What cliff?
For sure, they got sums of us HIGH on hope
Positioning poor folk, placing ‘em wherein they can’t cope
Then they wanna get all philanthropic
Each topic them cats claiming they’re our friend
I say nah buddy…to what end?
Knowing that’s not what they really intend
Like a noose, a rope, getting snookered by these foes
Fat cats living lives with their minimum bit of woes

glazed in epoxy
the community gathers daily to celebrate
highly defined sedation
at the far side of town
where the closed circuits
refuse to corral
lies the ruins
to the Museum
of Misused Mystics
I go there
to spraypaint cheatcodes
and as the plaster peeled
I heard you upstairs
dropping icecubes
into empty tin containers
the sound
that of an organic crystal
stretched my breath
to silk thread thin fibers
hanging me
awaiting
your
move
and
you let me choke
dead by the hand
of your updated status
