Sequestered
Definition?
It means nothing to me.
The word is a cool drink of water
during a hot day in the desert
delicious and inviting.
Oh yes,
there's nothing quite like the
sound of a q mating with
a u
the sound is sex itself.
It is the sound made
when one gulps down
a bottle of water
or sits down in the bathtub.
This word is pure comedy
hilarity but with grace,
unlike other comedic words
like bacteria
funny but revolting.
No, sequestered is a man
in a top hat
ordering scotch in a room
full of drunk men with
fat fingers drinking beer
and barbarically betting
on who will win the soccer game.
Sequestered is the man
who chooses to read a book
when there's a TV set in the next room over
Sequestered is a man who knows how to dance
and knows how to write
and knows how to be serious
but at the same time
can bring lamplight
on my dark street of a day.

FUCK FROM MY LIPS
A pretty lil lady like that shouldn't use such fowl words
But I do, so fuck him and fuck you too
Wait a moment, did I mention...
Your mom?
She's a whore
Once no more
I saw that bitch taking all his money
Sucking the life from his Dick
It really made me sick
So I killed that slut, fed her to a mutt
So like I said
Fuck you!

FREEDOM
Something I cannot have,
Something I can never hope for,
Something I dream about,
Something my heart can never afford.
In the corner of a room,
There lay a caged bird,
No matter how it tweeted,
It still lay unheard.
How it flew at the bars,
Pecked, flapped and screeched,
There was no way out,
Forever shall its solitary prisoner, keep.
It looked out from between those bars,
Into a window yonder on,
What did it see?
But freedom, skies and dawn.
Something it can never have,
You can see but never touch,
Or experience or even feel,
On the metal rod, did the bird clutch.
The cage was built around the bird,
There IS no door,
If this bird was immortal,
Imagine the hurt it bore
Something I cannot have,
Something I can never hope for,
Something I dream about,
Something my heart can never afford.
In the corner of a room,
There lay a caged bird,
No matter how it tweeted,
It still lay unheard.

8am this cunt text me
to tell me I need help,
yesterday it was all
'if you know what's best for you'
Self-righteous God-Father watching cunt.
Have you ever met those cunts
who read one psychology text book
and think they can control
every cunt around them?
Well, that's the cunt right there.
Truth is,
he's bitch slapped
by his smaller,
more vicious half.
In fact, I'm pretty sure
that the cunt has probably
reached that wall,
where if she took herself away,
without her misery
the cunt would just sit and shake.
I've heard him weeping
down a phone
for her.
He's been chased by
a chest of drawers
down his steps.
But, never mind
what the spineless cunt
puts up with,
let's just remember
him telling me I need help
at 8am...

Lovely competition.
Here's my entry
So I could have a favourite word
My favourite word; Dearest
It has always been, maybe,
and I didn't know.
I had to lose you, maybe,
so I could have a favourite
word, to call and feel
my own.

sometimes I peel back a seem
from the fabric of our being
then force a reluctant eye through
and become overwhelmed
I see people, clothed
with haircuts and watches
developed by man
in his dying hours
I see resources drained
regardless of the cost
but look how far we've come
we floated through water
squirmed in mud
swung in trees
and walked on the moon
an accomplishment
to be proud of
no knowledge gained
creation forever
enshrouded
we thrust ourselves into arms
of deities and entities
whose names should never be spoken
by the sane
I could close my eyes and tell you
that one day poets
will sit on the peaks
of mountains on a frozen moon
and recall what had gone
but
that's lunacy
the bang goes at the finish line
on the last lap
we will revert back to water
as broken atoms floating -
attaching to humble algae
as an unutterable legend that was
human
and this, the result of
Human

SERENDIPITY
Serendipity
Pathway less traveled
Witnessed you often
Here in my own wonder
~~~~~~~♥~~~~~~~
Your eyes haunt my vision
The sky blushes pale
No comparison
Light you radiate
~~~~~~~♥~~~~~~~
Kismet, soul awakener
Blow your kiss in the wind
Find me sleeping
Land on soft lips
~~~~~~~~♥~~~~~~~
Words of life fill me
Dreams delicious
I wake to thank the Sand Man
Seems I've always known you
~~~~~~~♥~~~~~~~
My reality sure
I know the man in the moon
Guided you safely here
Doors of treasure open
~~~~~~~♥~~~~~~~
Come walk with me
Nature ours
Clouds of spun confections
Fields of daisies flutter
~~~~~~~♥~~~~~~~
Expectations attained
Whether darkness or day
Friendships bond the light
Pathway to Serendipity

< all about you again >
it was winter just a while ago
but now
it's spring
and spring
is all about you again
you and your face
seen turning
just a glimpse
a flash of eye
a blue
a green
a glint of sun
reflected
in your words and breasts and legs
and what you say with your clear smile
and spring
is all about you again
and summer
is you
you and your hands
pulling the boat about
in sea
and clouds
as white
as sails
and fall
and you
as bright as red
and leaves
that dust us
in their orange and brown
and winter
leaves its coat on us
the white of snow
the black of branches reaching out to spring
and spring will be
all about you again

Equanimity
“Those who are doomed to become artists
are seldom blessed with equanimity.
They are tossed to drunken heights,
only to be brought down into a sludge of headachy despair;
their arrogance gives way to humiliation
at the next curve of the switchback.” —Patrick White, Flaws in the Glass, (1981) 1983
Equanimity is my holy grail of achievement in life,
a struggle I undertook freeing me from strife.
I lived as many do, second guessing myself, always insecure,
judging myself by what others thought, they knew.
I was always in a state of chaos, always wanting,
searching for reasons that of course remained obscure.
why is my life not good?
What is it about me that make this true?
It was time for self-reckoning,
understanding me;accepting my weaknesses
and recognizing my strengths,
was the only thing that would truly set me free.
Coming to terms with my lot in life,
finding the good by truthfully opening my eyes.
Learning that happiness and peace are always within me,
that these cannot be acquired externally.
When you finally wake up from the nightmare
and you realize it was of your own making,
that is when you will understand
being content with yourself brings good chi
to your life, it is in your hands.
It will translate to happiness rather than strife
peace and calm heals your soul,
that in turn brings patience to life.
When you have acquired patience
it begins evolving into wisdom
that brings serenity, calmness and tranquility.
Then and only then will arrive
to a point in your life of true equanimity .
Equanimity ( is a state of stability or composure arising from a deep awareness
and acceptance of the present moment.)
