Aha Mr Alip , the man , I love this piece and also lightning , just recently a bolt of lightning struck my parents house which blew out a £300 circuit board on their combination boiler ha ha ha oh well , great write as always Alip

Yeah we get a little cocky with it here, because its allways happening...So we sorta ignore it, but we shouldn't.
But we legally have to have Isolators in the DB boards these days.

mother nature does like to show us who the daddy is ay Alip ? 
I remember that tinge to the sky and thought somethings gonna happen as it felt like something was taking away the oxygen it was almost hard to breathe at one point just before the thunder started and the good thing is the guarantee (which had just expired) on this 3 grand ,state of the art boiler , had my dad thinking ,oh crap , this is going to cost a fortune to fix , actually cost nothing they did it anyway for free which was really good but as the plumber dude said it could of done a lot of damage but by law here , all houses and their pipework have to be grounded so that's likely what saved a lot of shit I guess .
