Poetry Contest Description

Embrace your darkness
of silence worn like cashmere
on cobblestones of incense
empty heart absence of love
staining the stones near
in silence deep beneath my feet
of words never spoken
and nothingness to my ear
of silence worn like cashmere
Embrace your darkness
of silence worn like cashmere
on cobblestones of incense
empty heart absence of love
staining the stones near
in silence deep beneath my feet
of words never spoken
and nothingness to my ear
of silence worn like cashmere

Cashmere
My love is worn
like cashmere sweaters
flowery thorns
soft studded leather
candy lips with razor teeth
gentle hips and burning sheath
slip me on and feel the passion
wear me out… your latest fashion
painful pleasure; cruel and kind
cashmere cadence; bump and grind
like cashmere sweaters
flowery thorns
soft studded leather
candy lips with razor teeth
gentle hips and burning sheath
slip me on and feel the passion
wear me out… your latest fashion
painful pleasure; cruel and kind
cashmere cadence; bump and grind

mirage
my veil was the early morning due that clung to my face like fresh water pearls
it covered my mind as cashmere so the princes of persia would not ravish my beauty
a rare indigo in the lavender desert heat
a mirage a thousand virigins their lips parted to taste the latter rains
whose tongues were scorched by hot ash for being harlots over eager between their eyes
it covered my mind as cashmere so the princes of persia would not ravish my beauty
a rare indigo in the lavender desert heat
a mirage a thousand virigins their lips parted to taste the latter rains
whose tongues were scorched by hot ash for being harlots over eager between their eyes

The Sweater
The warmth of a woven garment
accents a sensation on the skin.
Scent displaces devolving thoughts.
Threads get snagged, suddenly caught
in the auditory of augmented whispers.
A traverse through blurred memories,
with eyes closed, forming a resolution;
savoring the evolution of love.
Every sense is tangled in an action
of an attraction, love, worn like cashmere.
accents a sensation on the skin.
Scent displaces devolving thoughts.
Threads get snagged, suddenly caught
in the auditory of augmented whispers.
A traverse through blurred memories,
with eyes closed, forming a resolution;
savoring the evolution of love.
Every sense is tangled in an action
of an attraction, love, worn like cashmere.

Cashmere
A shedding so pure. A royal gown.
Wool like steel.
Meant to astound.
Entice me with your gallant revere.
Show me, a lust,
Worn like cashmere.
I'll give no fuss. The air is clear.
My love you may sacrifice.
Deep and sincere.
Another goat to shear.
Wool like steel.
Meant to astound.
Entice me with your gallant revere.
Show me, a lust,
Worn like cashmere.
I'll give no fuss. The air is clear.
My love you may sacrifice.
Deep and sincere.
Another goat to shear.

Lost Cashmere
I hunger for warmth
Yet I have been starved out
Did not comprehend or recognize
The meaning of your embrace
Safe, warm, and lulled in security
I was told this is love
I burrowed deep not wanting to
Lose it
Lose love
In the end,
I did.
Yet I have been starved out
Did not comprehend or recognize
The meaning of your embrace
Safe, warm, and lulled in security
I was told this is love
I burrowed deep not wanting to
Lose it
Lose love
In the end,
I did.

Cashmere Lady
I’ve never been a cashmere kind of guy
Soft gentle easy to love
Clingy itchy till the end of time
Leather was always the thing I buy
Black slippery free as a dove
Darkly coarse even in my prime
Unfortunately I’ll wear cashmere till I die
Why? Because I fell in love
She is a cashmere lady therefore I am

Worn Like Cashmere
I have no Cashmere in my house
I have no girlfriend, I have no spouse
Not sure what the texture is like
I hear it's soft, warm, am I right?
Maybe one day I'll have a girl who is true
I'll buy her Cashmere, that girl maybe you!
I have no girlfriend, I have no spouse
Not sure what the texture is like
I hear it's soft, warm, am I right?
Maybe one day I'll have a girl who is true
I'll buy her Cashmere, that girl maybe you!
