Whispers woven of darkness and light
I read of assumptions
that masquerade
small twists of random soaring reality.
Simple manipulated deflection,
in hopes for redirection.
"...Cast as victim or villain, perspective skews..."
I read a lack of willing compassion
where it's easier to blame
than it is to take responsibility;
humility taking a backseat,
as a suspect version of certitude
"my-way-or-the-highway's" it
I saw it repeat,
repeatedly.
Flashing coyly into narrowed minds
blowing fractural splintered winds,
perhaps leaving stained color
purposely smeared upon those
that seem meant
to be so sourly painted
I balked at slanted belief
reeking of hypocritical disdain,
unflinching creative inflexibility
long-howling at the moon,
To each their own —when it suits
hard preaching one way
yet life practicing the other,
when outside meanstreaks run deep
"...Pay naught, to both sides speaking..."
---§---
Dissolving a self's righteousness,
pain mixes with infrangible ego
True sympathy and understanding
Oh how they flailingly dance
upon pulverized shards
of slicing mirrored glass.
All the while, deep down
knowing
that it'll never be enough
It's never enough.
More, isn't always better
it's just more.
More need.
More speculation.
More cruelty.
More brokenness.
More spotlight.
More pushing buttons.
More feigning of.
-Night-blooming jasmine unseen in darkness-
So sure are assumptions
that score flesh and drag mud.
Is there kind beauty without agenda
or any fairness in raw honesty at all?
I wonder... where is the unbiased openness
blooming in hearts of humbled goodness?
Where are joined public repeats
of compassionate pleas
fully grasping the whole picture?
All seems lost and foreign;
have I imagined such nobleness?
Life's intricacies are a wish—uncomplicated
Important intersections
criss and uncross
steadfast to irresolute,
make rise a stubborn inability-
(and) unwillingness to comprehend
the precious passage of time
is clear wisdom gained.
The value of which is blind,
not able to be entirely seen
from such close(d) proximity.
Only when the sand starts filling
that bottom part
of the hourglass, heavy
then
stark truth starts to absorb.
Age incurred wisdom,
clarity and empathy
become small rewards
that time gone, leaves behind
(at least to the acceptant willing)
Because it's never been
(or will it ever be)
just about the sun
and the boisterous hubris
of it's singular automatic warmth
that purposely surrounds.
It's a magnified realization—
without the perfect
fortuitous combination
of various elements
and brutal lessons learned,
The sun would only burn... a sad lonely burn.

SYMPHONY'S NIGHT VOICES
If you listen carefully
You can hear Mother Nature descant
It's a sound so naturally
"Alluring and Puissant."
Every living thing has a vocal of its own
A bird tweets "yet" hear the running streams
A place they call home
Around Trees that are Queens...
Winds and rain invite others to attend
Enjoying the event
In a moment all is regarded as a friend
After it calms an orchestra is sent
Now ready to begin...
Crickets play their violin
The beauty in the sound
But then toads croak in
"Wow just look around!"
Wolves sneak upon to hear their howls
as the moon shines bright
Present now are mesmerizing white owls
"Just how Gala is this Night?"
Spiders don't stay behind
as they weave their webs
To rhythm as the raindrops skim its lines
Echoes that reach even mountainscapes
Suddenly all is silent at the same term
And in seconds, drums are then heard
"Why is it a woodpecker?"
"Rocking like a real drummer?"
Well rock on redhead fella
Maybe you'll be talented to play the mbira
"EVERYONE LOOK ARRIBA!"
This is so fascinating and entertaining
The chanting of wildlife
There's nothing that needs explaining
Other than to know it's all perfect and nice
If you listen prudently to its true hidden heart
You'll hear the sound of a sacred gold harp
The one gift that gives it "God's Hand Art".
"Blessing it all right from Genesis start."

Fly Like An Eagle...
TicK Tock…
I wanna fly like an eagle to the warmth of the sun
Where the moon upon man’s repentance cannot hide from
Let the air carry me above in flight as my wings spread in the quest to be free
Where the reminisce of my soul my fall and be floated away by the current of the sea
Exemplifying to be the best, casting first stones, promising in vanity to be the chosen one, no, it is only an assertion which wallows when the mind is mentally unfit, resurrected as a misfit, when you are blind and cannot fathom your small presence among the celestial offering is ordained by fate’s shift
Misguided from planetary mystical alliance that has somehow turned off the Crown Charka switch
Feed the babies who do not have enough to eat
Deaf the gun’s bullets who kill the innocence on the street
House the hopeless, the homeless without shoes on their feet
Our salvation the hidden key of our own mind's revelation
Seeping brain matter in the structure of communication unto the glory of the keystroke's gratification
Imprisoning the mind from no spiritual intellectual elevation
Oh God how, time keeps slipping into the future
I wanna fly like an eagle to the warmth of the sun
Where the moon upon man’s repentance cannot hide from
Let the air carry me above in flight as my wings spread in the quest to be free
Where the reminisce of my soul my fall and be floated away by the current of the sea

The Meaning of Life
And when I take my last breath
Only then
The meaning of life will reveal itself to me

That’s not write
I had a creative writing teacher
Who told me to try to avoid clichés
To express something powerful
Original
To create meaning
Not borrow it
His wife left him
When she found out he was fucking a student
Maybe he should have avoided that cliché
Who told me to try to avoid clichés
To express something powerful

To create meaning
Not borrow it
His wife left him
When she found out he was fucking a student
Maybe he should have avoided that cliché

Gutters and drain pipes
Stars shine
cast by gas light
a breath borne to barren brick streets
I had lit my cigarette and leaned into the lamp, another cloud floated
a lone silhouette
the obscura fixed, hugged by leather
there is no time left
sad but true I am scared
so long now it has been
with my lips pursed to open air
a still tongue kept secret without banal utterance
life by living
yet here I hold up the lamppost
~waiting~
Believing wholly to transparency
I claim dire
my person known
No question fogged by mirror
on this private lane
few come this way, though it stays open
without guard, bars or articals artificial
reasons I hand write my map
never lose them
this street stays quiet and the smoke keeps rising
I am of the ancestry
the tremors wave
my solid street
not an evening passes
wide-awake
Damned by stillness
cast by gas light
a breath borne to barren brick streets
I had lit my cigarette and leaned into the lamp, another cloud floated
a lone silhouette
the obscura fixed, hugged by leather
there is no time left
sad but true I am scared
