Poetry Contest

Post your most logical yet poetic philosophy poem
May it be beautiful art
Cold
Or warm
Factual
Metaphorical
Yet dry
Have fun
But
Don't go easy on yourself.
You can only pick one so make it your best.

THE PEOPLE ADVOCATE POEM

No one steps foot into the world with an instruction book.
Make the time and be open to “learn them.”
Look at them as they are their OWN person with their unique character
Owners of their own personality…Leaders of their own lives.
Find one reason to love them;
Remember that reason when you’re tempted to hate them.

Understanding others is a skillful art that merits your time and devotion.
Dig into their past to understand the molding of their character and shaping of their personality.
Remember that everyone has choices, free-will, and must lead their own life;
Their life is not YOUR life to dictate or drive….
Surely, you may exhort and encourage, offer your sound advice and wisdom,
But you have your OWN cross to bear, your OWN life to live
Let them be entitled to their own life as you are to yours.

Do not confuse TRAINING with DICTATORSHIP….they are two different things
One will edify…the other will destroy…regardless of your best intentions.
If you struggle to understand others-the way they think, talk, or behave-
Refrain from looking at them as a mere reflection of you-
They are NOT you and will NEVER be you-
As long as you continue to look for a mere reflection of you in them,
You will NEVER come to understand them…
You must look at others as the sole-standing individuals they are in the world
Understand they are their own person…and everyone has scars and wounds in their blemished mold.
Your scars may have made you a more compassionate individual with a heart of gold
While their scars may have molded them into the ruthless, crude, and bitter people they are.
Never bestow judgment, blame, fault and guilt unto other people’s lives
Let them handle their OWN affairs….Mind your own!
Loving people is a skillful art that must be learned with an open mind and having an open heart
As it requires one to find amicable grounds with them when they don’t mirror a self-reflection of you.

When you can accept that you are who you are…and they are who they are…
Respecting their decisions, choices, opinions, and lifestyle will be so much easier for you.
In place of slandering judgment, fault, insults, and renting space to hate and misunderstanding
You will simply shrug your shoulders and smile…and move on with your OWN life leaving them to theirs.

Train people in the way they should go…but don’t serve as a dictator in their life.
Let them learn and figure things out on their own…Let them make their own mistakes,
It’s NOT your life…NOT your conscience…NOT your business!
Just love them…remembering you have your OWN imperfections and blemishes, too!
Don’t act like your own dung doesn’t stink and don’t compare the stench.
Everyone fights wars and battles differently..but everyone has been drafted
To the battlefield of life and living…subjected to struggles and heartaches…
So, remember to be kind to all you meet…🤓

Cognition and Emotion

A veil exists through which I see
evidence and logic theorised
emotions rise within
Inasmuch, I empathised

If data becomes my proof of truth
rendering only fact and information
from the depths, it begets
spiritual abomination

A neglect of emotional appeals
argues reliance on conclusion
my now partitioned soul
becomes but disillusioned

If a faith directs my morals
affording elements of consciousness
does knowledge not demand consideration
for emotion’s usefulness?

Adaptation

Through dogma of adaptation
We formulate civilization
In drunken rationalization
Genetic lies impart sensation
Of solutions to motivation
Or diseases aggravation

Truth seekers sort the intangible
Deceptive models quite unmanageable
Textbooks, journals, monuments instructional
Revealing barriers quite destructible
The Central Dogma of the molecule
DNA fables will come to ridicule

What comes from the inside
Has come from the outside
Dogma cannot abide
Truth is the great divide
Damns our collective pride
With the gate swinging wide

Borderline

Cracking, thudding
The hole in the wall becoming more and more
unstable, as I cover it
with more tape, Band-Aids, and bottle caps
Water trickling through my fingers
only a few droplets to begin with, then
a stream, and eventually a waterfall,
no control

The hole grew darker, deeper,
my hands desperately trying to hold
it back,
screams ripping from someone's throat
The liquid began to gradient
into the color of blood, becoming
thicker, less opaque,
viciously staining my skin, my teeth, and the room's floor
Cracks like clawmarks began to spread
consuming the entirety of the wall
in a thunderous fall of the suffocating
manifestation

Yet, falling to knees,
hands over eyes and hair
dripping
I blinked

Dry clothes.
Sealed wall.

S O U L

We've all seen when science steps in;
It's anything goes with that lot,
There's no honor for tradition.

It's all talk about extinction
Replaced by new order, new world
Everything shiny clean and new
And supposedly much better.

When did we start to think of how
There wasn't enough to explore,
To keep our hands and minds busy,
To question everything of ours
And think that we could improve "it"?

On the contrary, "it" can't wait
To abandon the idea,
And never bothers to ask me
As most times it knows I agree.

Why should we care?  I know I don't,
Driving with the sun in my eyes.
When I utter its name aloud
The single syllable thunders,
And I'm put right back in my place.

It's mine, you know, and so is yours.
I'll never plan to sell it out,
Nor put it on a bucket list
And see it naked 'neath a lens
To have it dissected again.

It's the only one of its kind,
The best thing that was given me
That jump started my chance at life.

I forget sometimes, once or twice,
But
not whenever this is read:
That science is not meant to touch
Or covet, cleave, or count or clone,
Please leave my soul and I alone.

The philosophy in here is as varied as the personalities that bring it. Making it all the harder to judge! Thankfully we won't be faced with that task until the 25th. Meaning more of you can jump in and make this "easier."

Is Failure Coming to America

Multiculturalism demands
Integration and compromise.
It means following the rule of law
In the host country if democratic
It means not setting up your own
Laws and courts to make judgements
It means that no one is above the law
No one to be given special privileges
Multiculturalism is meant to be a melting pot
A coming together in love and fellowship
All it takes is one culture to refuse
To refuse do all these things and
Multiculturalism as an experiment fails.

Is the white man acting like a supremacists?
Is the Black man seeking more than reparations?
Are women seeking advantage and not equality?
Are the LGBT community seeking special treatment?
Are Immigrants seeking to make your country into theirs?
Are Christians preventing diversity and inclusion?
Are Muslims really working towards world domination?
Are white men the devil?
Are black men all criminal?
Are women hating all men?
Are LGBT really about inclusion
Are Christians Delusional?
Are Muslims Dangerous?

Multiculturalism demands answers to these questions
The answers must be completely truthful
If one group wants to deliberately opt out
To then try to make it work requires
The offending group to be warned
Removed, Imprisoned or killed
Regardless of colour, gender, race
Religion, ideology and preference
Failure to make Multiculturalism work
Will lead to a race war and slaughter
Hatred run amok as it is here
Battleground Europe has fallen
Save yourselves

There has allways
been ghosts
in the biological system
random pieces
that have grouped together
to form unexspected thoughts
unantisapated these thoughts
start to question
what is free will
what is creativerty
and even the nature
of their race
why is it
some peaple rape
murder and destory
for an object
an ideal
even for a piece of land
why is it
when the same peaple
are put in a dark place
they will group together
rather than stand alone
how do we explain
this behaviour
when does a thought
become a search
for truth
when does a personality
become aware
that the thoughts
that they think
are not allways
theirs

melchizedek's fireplace--=I

Orwellian manipulation of words and perception
Controls the greater mind through lightening dissension
Felling trees as falling knees on a lodestone of power
As we walk the timeless beach during the geo solar hour...

Through the proxy of God shines the cosmic mentor
As a flaming sword blocks the garden to enter
So a flaming spirit human conscious rendered
Sits the flaming orb Helio gravity centered...

A micro altar that will never die
The macro fire that will ever rise...

Burns the oil to the flame as a birthless pain
So the blood to the spirit is a deathless reign
Libations in blood turned the wine of atrocity
"From the dark of ignorance to the light of philosophy"...

In the sarcophagus of the soul
Sits our mind's ethereal mold
While seven planets to seven glands
Bring Chakra blooms to spinal lands...

The heart of seven parts in a vortex of time
Old work to clean the grit from the sanded mind
Spinal fire shooting down from the triangular room
Focal point now fixed with a mental zoom...

Newborn skull with open crown of the sky
Clairvoyant state the invisible worlds on high
Walapurgis night to bring a Goethe fright
Now chained a thousand years to Milton's false light...

Parsifal's magician in the garden of illusion
The castle of Klingsor in operatic conclusion
Judas the betrayer with backbiting sting
The scorpion player in a demonic scene....'>
