Deep Underground Poetry is Closing Down
I want to say that you for hosting the site for so many years. It’s a real gem. I have gotten to know a number of writers and it is a great community. I wish you well in your future endeavours and hope to see you and others on other poetry forums. Long live the pen!
Thank you for giving us this space for such a long time. I will cherish the exploration and growth, the people, the poems, hell even the flaming shit-fights and the wieners who used AI for the rest of my life. No exaggeration. I will never forget DUP.

Earth has been here for 4.5 billion years, and I managed to exist at the same time as DUP. How cool is that? I got to meet all these incredible humans... thank you.

I am completely devastated. This place has been my safe place, and my place to go when I needed a friend , in a world that hates me. Is there really no way out of this? I’d be willing to pay top dollar for you, to help keep this place going. You can’t go! Please don’t go. Thank you for all you’ve done to give us this freedom and our voice. Not many times do I feel like crying. But I sure do now. This site was my way of figuring out the world and myself. I have no where to go that will let me do it right. It's more than just sad. It's an end to a big part of my life. But I understand. The world is very different.

Is there anyway you can impose a mandatory membership to keep this place going? I would be willing to pay upwards of $35 a month or maybe even more, to keep this place alive. Webmiss, seriously, there is no place like this, this is home for a lot of us and make no mistake you have made an impact on all of us❤️ is there a chance that you could ask for volunteers help you in managing the site so it’s not so taxing on your personal life ? I wish I could be one of those people, but you need people that have really good computer skills. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to pressure you, it’s just this is a big deal. It’s huge, and I think we’re all trying to trying to figure out if there’s someway we could save this site. Please answer me back even if it’s a general statement for all thank you.
