Deep Underground Poetry is Closing Down
I want to say that you for hosting the site for so many years. It’s a real gem. I have gotten to know a number of writers and it is a great community. I wish you well in your future endeavours and hope to see you and others on other poetry forums. Long live the pen!
Thank you for giving us this space for such a long time. I will cherish the exploration and growth, the people, the poems, hell even the flaming shit-fights and the wieners who used AI for the rest of my life. No exaggeration. I will never forget DUP.

Earth has been here for 4.5 billion years, and I managed to exist at the same time as DUP. How cool is that? I got to meet all these incredible humans... thank you.

Webmistress, I wish I could take over....to keep all your hard work, blood, sweat, tears, money, talent, understanding, patience, love and all in between alive. Youve done well for all of us. Even if we didnt/dont agree. Youve always been fair. I know Im a pain in the ass.
