Secrets by Lawrence Estrey

This book is a psychological thriller set in the UK. The male character, Alan, is a middle-aged web designer who seems to be lost mentally in thoughts of the past while trying to deal with the everyday. Moving back to his childhood town triggers memories that lead him to answers to questions that he never knew he had.

While going through this he has to raise his son independently since his wife left him.

In my opinion, this is a good read. If you like twists and turns and “who done it’s”, this is a book for you.

I will admit that to describe this only as a psychological thriller is an understatement. This is definitely a mystery and borderline cozy mystery since it's set in a small town surrounded by a certain group of people.

If you have never been to London this is a good book to pick up because the description is excellently portrayed here. From the time frame to the accents of the people, it draws you in.
