"The Wall" by Pink Floyd is a classic, no doubt. It's one of those timeless pieces that never gets old.

As for your other choices, "Hangover" and "Now You See Me" are both solid options for a good time. They've got that perfect mix of humor and intrigue that keeps you hooked till the credits roll.

Oh, and if you're ever looking to broaden your streaming horizons, I recently stumbled upon this neat trick for accessing Hulu content from different parts of the world. It's been a game-changer for my movie nights, especially when I'm craving something that's not available in my region.

Anyone else watched 'The Outer Range' on Paramount? Not many things will accelerate my heart ( Under Paris certainly didn't but I'm from the 'JAWS' generation ), but this has done that in several places.

The Gentlemen on Netflix! It's a British comedy along the vein of "Snatch", although none will compare to the latter.

Hopefully, I will get around to writing up some short reviews for horror film recommendations this coming scare season, my favorite time o' the year! And BEFORE the end of October, unlike last time, when I didn't write any recommends until Halloween was well over.

I've been enjoying The Penguin and Tulsa King. Great escapism so far. These aren't anywhere near done yet so I will have to wait for a complete assessment. Finally, Yellowjackets is free on streaming. Season 1 was a hoot, but I've heard mixed reviews on season 2, which I haven't watched any of yet. Been meaning to pick up on a horror series called "From", which from a distance, looks to be absolutely insane. I hope to get into that as the weather gets colder. I watch a lot of stuff when I'm taking care of mom, which is how I find the time for viewing lol

One indie horror I can recommend now is this little-found-footie-that-could called "The Outwaters". It's a slow burn with some magnificent cinematography for its budget, which is expertly used in richly textured, otherworldly horror elements in the desert. Four companions set out for the Mojave wasteland to make a video (in an area that may or may not be used by the U.S. military for research into UFO phenomenon), and while they aren't totally memorable characters, they aren't entirely hopeless, and you will feel for them as they suffer grisly, found-footage fates. Fine job overall, but what really shines here is the camera work and direction, allowing the horror elements to really flow and pop on the screen. One gripe is it might be a bit too 'trippy' for some. Robbie Banfitch (also starring in the film as a character named Robbie) is the director, and in my opinion, a talent to keep an eye on. The desert is an underrated, underused setting for horror....perhaps no landscape on Earth is as unforgiving, and the director uses the backdrop with great care and surreal effect here.

4 out of 5 stars for The Outwaters!  Highly recommended.

Tulsa King is awesome. My grandson and I are watching it as a means to introduce him to classic actors. He's seen all the Rambos, Rockys, and just about every other film starring Stallone. Same with Schwarzenegger.

He says Arnold isn't that great an actor, he's just iconic. He can hold his own with adults when it comes to classic actors.

The Old man season 2 is really good. Lithgow and Bridges are excellent.  

Anyone seen "Woman of the Hour" yet? It's about the true story of the 70's serial killer, Rodney Alcala, who went on The Dating Game to find his next victim.
