On gossamer wings of tides over clouds of bamboo
consumed by shadows that I call home
wading through dreams with nature's resiliency
mingled seas tingle blue with nightingale songs
as a poet until the day dawns no more
and a plum no more to see

It shone on pyramids it shone on comets too
it shone on Neanderthaler hid from things not in our zoos
It shone on glaciers it really made 'em run
and what was this shiny thing?
