Friends, loves and clouds
I don't know where they are, friends and girlfriend who almost...
But I can write a sonnet to express what I cried.
Maybe this way I could ease the pain I feel in my chest
and find a new direction for my imperfect love
Where are those who were once companions on the journey?
Those who shared laughter and tears with me,
who supported each other in the most difficult and bitter times.
And who always celebrated victories and achievements
Where is the one who was once the bride of the clouds?
The one who promised to be faithful and give her open hand.
That she swore eternal love and filled my poor chest with illusion
and then abandoned the boat without reaching any port.
Where are those friends and that girlfriend who almost...
They are gone, but the ground remains and now it's time to move on
without looking back because life is made of minimal changes
and time, the clouds... the waters of the rivers never return.

A Farewell
I upon a moonlight sail
to realms where we dance
upon gentle clouds of dream
to again hold hands
wishing upon trillion stars
to let fly together in bliss eternal
and in the sky
blaze Heart
holding to beloved Soul
-not an entry-
I upon a moonlight sail
to realms where we dance
upon gentle clouds of dream
to again hold hands
wishing upon trillion stars
to let fly together in bliss eternal
and in the sky
blaze Heart
holding to beloved Soul

goodbye
You
won't
be able
to take the
whole house with you,
so take a few toys
and the color
of the walls with you...
will anyone
look at you fondly or not?
I don't know,
so take the rainbow
of my eyes with you...
I won't say
goodbye to you
I will see your white aura
from the wet window...
You were
always standing
silently in the dark evenings
so take some naughty waves
of the ocean with you...
You won't be able
to stay in the
same atmosphere forever
so take some seasons with you...
You have seen
a lot of autumn
so carry some white flowers
in that red envelope...
If it becomes dark
somewhere while going
it will be difficult
so keep some fireflies
also in your black palm...
My dry words
will not be able
to say 'I love you' to you..
so one last time
take a warm sip
from my trembling lips...
won't
be able
to take the
whole house with you,
so take a few toys
and the color
of the walls with you...
will anyone
look at you fondly or not?
I don't know,
so take the rainbow
of my eyes with you...

One Last Kiss
What a perfect night to bid you farewell
Heavy with mysteries full moon hangs low
Nightingale sings a sweet serenade
Seal my lips with a kiss that echoes in eternity
Hush my love and don't you weep
My body dies but my soul is set free
So paint the coffin in my favorite colors
Promise me to live a happy purposeful life
When in another starry night
Crickets chirp a haunting melody
And a soft breeze caresses your face
Then know that this is me
Whenever you think of me
I won't be far away
Until we finally meet again
I will watch over you from above

The Goodbye
I’m here to tell you goodbye
It’s been so hard for me to accept
I’ve clung to the hope of us
Our love has made this so difficult
Our calmness in this storm so confusing
But I want a life of emotion
I want to feel deeply, not skim the surface
I want to risk, to experience, to live
I want to love hard
I want to love securely
I’m here for the ride of my life
Not a gentle amble
I don’t want a safety net
So it’s best we go now and heal
Separately and begin to forget
Meet new people eventually and fall in love again
There’s more than one soul mate for me
I never wanted to look for them but hey
I wish you love, light, and happiness
But goodbye
It’s been so hard for me to accept
I’ve clung to the hope of us
Our love has made this so difficult
Our calmness in this storm so confusing
But I want a life of emotion
I want to feel deeply, not skim the surface
I want to risk, to experience, to live
I want to love hard
I want to love securely
I’m here for the ride of my life
Not a gentle amble
I don’t want a safety net
So it’s best we go now and heal
Separately and begin to forget
Meet new people eventually and fall in love again
There’s more than one soul mate for me
I never wanted to look for them but hey
I wish you love, light, and happiness
But goodbye

Remember me
Remember how we used to be,
In love, happy so carefree
But behind the scenes you were discontent
I never knew how deep that went
Until that day you blindsided me
You took my future, no more were we
And now I scrabble for the bits you give
That’s no life, no way to live
So leave me please,walk away
I beg you do this for me pray
I need your strength to begin to heal
Not your pity that’s no deal
But the final thing I plea,
Is one day you remember me
Fondly, kindly, lovingly
As the one who got away
In love, happy so carefree
But behind the scenes you were discontent
I never knew how deep that went
Until that day you blindsided me
You took my future, no more were we
And now I scrabble for the bits you give
That’s no life, no way to live
So leave me please,walk away
I beg you do this for me pray
I need your strength to begin to heal
Not your pity that’s no deal
But the final thing I plea,
Is one day you remember me
Fondly, kindly, lovingly
As the one who got away

The day you caught the train
The net curtains float lace patterns
projected on magnolia,
thin sunlight warms our bed covers,
white cotton wrapped as loin cloth,
tight against smooth skin.
The mornings bore runs busy in the street,
scaling walls to chatter at our window.
Your shape slides beneath my hand,
warmth cools as I sigh deeper
and you check the alarm clock.
I save another wasted frame,
a rotting petal pressed between memories.
The bartender wants my glass,
no final drop to sip from you,
Your tongue has tripped, the lies let slip.
This day you will leave, and me;
packing for the journey I can't take.
A could never be, lovers embrace
belies the two who's eyes are fake,
something we buried in this place.

Four hour warning
I could have run with the others,
a deserter ahead of the missiles,
but what would I gain.?
Instead, I sit relaxed,
accept what will be;
make the most of these hourglass fragments,
at home with good friends and family.
We drink wine and dine on a light lunch with laughter,
contemplate the complicated nature of politics and war,
take time to linger,
try to understand our goodbyes.
My voice chokes
as I read out fugitive pieces,
poetry collections of memories and special places,
I wanted my tracks to be seen,
set in the concrete of existence.
The words were hard to find,
lost to crumpled paper and interruption,
hidden from my pen,
they still elude me now,
but these people know me,
even now they massage my frailties.
I stand,
a fiction of my own words,
no need for veils anymore,
I could never create the colours
that allow words to live,
a world beyond my capture
but not beyond regret.
The sirens have stopped;
I reach for familiar hands,
foreheads touch,
lips trace a brushed kiss before we hug.
I face the window
to watch our departure,
my mind
faces the door to imagine
our next journey.
