The Love of My Eyes

Eye to eye
I see the love
For me
All over your face
An instant
Sexual attraction
But without the
Physical intercourse
I fiend
The yearning burns up
Inside of me
To reach out
And pull you close
My arms
Wrapped around your
Soft skin
Never
Breaking OUR view
Still
Eye to eye
Watching your
Beautiful smile
Whatever I do
Attracts your
Undeniable attention
For Chuck
That's me
As we
Kiss
Your beautiful lips
Pressed against mine's
Passionate with
A touch of
Aggressiveness
Until I
Insert my tongue
Into your....
Awaiting mouth
I feel your
Body release
All of your
Built up stress
From your....
Past week
Two lovers going at it
In the
French way
But OUR way
As my hands
Finds your....
Soft tush
As your breathing slows
And you close
Your beautiful eyes
Your way of
Enjoying this
Magical moment
You and I
US
TOGETHER
FOREVER
Instilled in our minds
As we....
Holding each other
So tight
Not wanting to
Be the first
To let go
Or
Leave each other alone
We were
Meant for each other
No denying
Or a false statement
I love you
Thee mostest
I promise you
I do
Whatever it takes
To keep your heart
Connected to me
My soulmate
Never will I
Break OUR
Eye to eye
View
Because....
You are
The love of my eyes

FAMILIAR STRANGERS

we are strangers still
despite all we know
and all we share --
despite the joint accounts
and both our names on the deed
and the photographs of you and i together
taken here and there
on this trip or that gathering,
despite our foibles
and our farts
and our failures
and all we've learned to tolerate
and all our promises
and kindness
and all we like to think we have in common
there are secrets
kept for the sake of diplomacy,
truths hidden,
cards we cannot show
lest we disturb this loving collaboration

for though we are one
we are two
and always will be

Nicole

I love her because she is the brightness of the day
I love her because she is the strength of the coffee
I love her because she is the warmth of the shower
I love her because she is the song of the city
I love her because she is the sound of love
I love her because she is the kindness of others
I love her because she is the peace of the ocean waves
I love her because she is the cooling breeze
I love her--she is more precious than rubies
I love her--she is worth more than many diamonds
I love her--she knows me and calls my name
I love her--she is blessed
Now and evermore

Crossroads, double helices and the curiosity of transformative love

Always
are
thoughts
that permeate deep
wealth is fierce bravery
that I offer
constant, is my beating heart
that drums
in time to your name.

Every. Single. Breath.
from my anointed mouth
given unto you
is a sustenance
of ours
how we become
utter
sheer
perfection

willingly isolated
in our garden
of remarkable majesty

Just you and I

Keeping a promise
of infinity
long awaited,
now
newly created;
more than ever before
this
sacramental need
has found
it's way
home

Open hearts
spill forth
allowing passion
pure desire
and love without condition
to helix bloom

Satiated betwixt
loving arms,
a new reality centers
anchored-twined in two,
space folds
liquid time flows
we are our own

Traversing a definite known
undoing past scars
and pointless fears
vindication sings
from a holy sacred choir
sweet ethereal music
echo-carries
each cherished kiss
in amplitude

Such resonant soundings
redefine tenderness
capturing proof
from dire lips—
deep exploration
 bound in
exquisite discovery

Imprinted
upon
the very DNA,
a divinely perfect code
yours twists into mine
creating
our code
where
lock meets key

answering
that
one

universal secret

Je T'aime

The sun
spills pettles
accross
her canvass

Legs
bound
in four
strands
Knotted
like the french
plait
in her hair

Heart beats
against my cheeks
as a side drum
waiting for
a trombone
to sound

Fingers entwined
having worked
an honest day
holding on
as if
there will never be
a time
to let go

Her breath
whispering
over skin
in a harmony
that
settles choirs

This is when
I am most
at home

We agree over
coffee
No one
says it
quite
like us

-x-

Another Dawn Without You

A songless bird against the sky
a lone jogger along the beach
fragrance of coffee
a sudden peal of laughter
they colour the dawn
another one without you

empty lonely arms
cuddling a bolster
curled against the pillows
looking from curtainless windows
blush pink from dawn dusted sky
another day without you

closed eyes seeping tears
not knowing where to begin
slumbers on in a blanket
of warmth fuelled by wishes
for better dawns
for thousands of tomorrows

Another day without you
just another day.

Lost

I knew you were gone
Before we ever said goodbye
My heart had been lost
And thought of you home
But my eyes had been shut
From all the warning signs
I knew you were gone
But I thought we were lost

Distance brings clarity
Time heals the deepest wounds
I looked to you
For what she never could
But children can’t fix
What parents don’t give
I was searching for love
But my direction was lost

I moved to close to you
I exposed too much of me
You said it was suffocating
Sparks need air to ignite
Im only as clingy
As my breaking heart demands
I was working to fix this
But your feelings were lost

I picking up the pieces
Regaining my sanity
Slowly I gave you
All I thought I had of me
But I’ll never love another
If my sense of self is lost

Im working to fix me
Im hoping you see it
But if you’re far gone
I hope that she’s worth it
Someday I’ll find me
Someday’s not lost
