Manic
My mind is broken.
Shards of thoughts stabbing into membrane and nerves, setting my senses aflame with remorse and loss.
Emptiness consumes the fragile barrier I have created in desperation for myself, weakened over time by the constant barage of hate and self loathing I have embedded into the walls of my brain.
The ringing in my ears is piercing, like the silent scream that wracks my soul.
Wrenching mind from body.
Separated.
Slowly caving to the festering thoughts.
Like a glitch.
Repeating.

So close,
You hold me.
My body growing heavier.
My eyes closing from exhaustion.
Your hands gripping me firmly,
Desperate to keep me awake.
But I can't feel your grasp,
And your voice seems hushed.
The distance of my mind,
Ever growing and moving out,
further and further away.
Leaving the safety of your voice.
Begining to let go.
Slipping out of your pleading grasp
Until finally,
Consuming stillness.
You hold me.

The disgruntled conscience of a sleepless imagination
The shattered hopes of a lost predilection
Caught in eternity, you can only survive
Time spent is wasted, watching everyone die
A realm less perfect, lost in forever
The touch of another, a constant torture
To love and lose, without any gain
To feel the hurt of death, a constant pain

Cold
Dark and bitter cold
That is what I feel laying there
Wet concrete
The scent of snow in the air
The smell of fresh blood around me
My body sore
The pain muted by my sleet soaked clothing
Clothing that is plastered to my body
Blood already conjealing around me

Goodbye
It is my final hour
But I didn't tell you
I kept it secret
Even from myself
I waited impatiently
For this final victory
I can finally be free
I can finally open my arms
Finally breathe again
I am filled with tension
Not from fear
And not from hurt
But from not having to wait any longer
I am excited to finally come closer
Anxious to commit this final act of desperation

One hit is all it takes.
To see into another realm.
Is it beautiful?
Is it terrifying?
Terrifying.
I am seeing blue everywhere.
And tiny blue faries.
But then my vision shutters to black.
And when I come to, I have a decaying hand on my shoulder.
I start to scream when I am shot forward by a blast of flames.
Where am I?
I am in a submarine.
We are hit. Being torpedo'd.
Shit! I am running now.
Trying to get to my friends.
Everything is black.
I turn a corner and everything goes still.

Disgruntled. Effectively forgotten.
God's hidden idea.
Justly, Kelpie lingers.
Maliciously now onlooking.
Patient quandries revolving.
Silently testing. Undermining.
Vitaly. Wielding xysters.

Again, bearing cruelty.

Blue Dream
A warm day.
Sunny.
A few clouds.
A subtle breeze.
All barely noticable.
Until two hits.
I get in tune with my Mother Nature.
To better understand the day.
Two hits and everything is clear.
Slowed down.
Beautiful.
It is all brought into perspective by two hits.
A Blue Dream.
Lovely.
I feel nature stiring.
I can hear the voices of the different creatures.
Feel the life flowing around me.

Hair made of espresso, gold, amber, and teal
Flowing down to her shoulderblades
Many of the layers making it wavy, messy, and tousled
Easy to run fingers through though
Eyes, green with a flash of copper
Trimmed with long lusty lashes
Kind eyes, soft eyes, sad eyes
They tell you a story, if you let them
Full lips, a soft shade of pink
Teasing, playful, seductive
A smile that comes easily

I hear
Rain pounding on the concrete
The distant echoing of a dog barking
The ocean crashing beyond the hill
I see
Trees swaying in tune to the wind
Wild flowers reaching up to kiss the raindrops
An elderly man sitting on his front porch
I smell
Rain cramping it's way onto the streets
Freshly brewed coffee inside my home
Dampness of the bark mulch in my flower beds
I taste
Cleanliness of the fresh air
The hot bitterness of my folgers
And the sweet, nuttiness of my coffee creamer

Creeping silently throughout this place of unrest
A stagnant chill pervades the walls
It moves on updrafts to the upstairs
Here it just sits and waits
The smell of must and mildew crawl around in the air
The once inhabited rooms torn up in a victims last attempts
Tried to get away, but the house wouldn't let them
It cornered them, gave them up
It saw the fear in their hearts and it thrived upon it
The rotted away floorboards are the last testimonies to the destruction created
To the nightmares lived in this haunted old colonial home
But...
