Homewrecker
No one thought that me and death could go together.
If you think that I'm okay, then you should know me better.
This ain't a suicide note; it's a love letter.
Satan is my goal, and I'ma go get her.
Fry me in your pan, girl, it would be my pleasure.
Spend eternity with you in that warm weather.
There's only one in the world who stands above Becker.
And that's you, baby girl. You my homewrecker.

My love is fierce
A blade that I wield
From the end of my strong arm
Valiant and true
I fight
And pierce
And stab my way to victory
To your heart
But in my raptures and my fantasies
I,
Enraged and impassioned,
Move too quickly
And I learn that love
Is always fragile,
No matter how strong it appears to be
A blade that I wield
From the end of my strong arm
Valiant and true
I fight
And pierce
And stab my way to victory
To your heart
But in my raptures and my fantasies
I,
Enraged and impassioned,
Move too quickly
And I learn that love
Is always fragile,

With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come
I remember the bounce
of a bus ride into Liverpool
and a rolling ferry that made me so sick
I had to sit on his knee.
My small fingers ploughed the fields
on his potato sack face
as he kept a weather eye on the Mersey
and swamped me with his huge farm-hand hands.
I love you grandad I said, touching his cheek
beneath a gaze that drifts towards an ocean.
and there it was,
a smile that fitted perfectly into
every furrow on his face.

A pillion for the parade
He knew what he was supposed to be,
two stroke raced in his blood line.
By the age of ten his dermatitis hands
could rebuild a gearbox and most engines,
he was good at connecting with his father.
At seventeen he was still pretending
in his worn out patched up jeans
and scuffed up road rashed leather,
long hair seemed to match the image,
but he hankered for change and its approval.
A young man's dilemma
can easily King Kong its way
to the top of the Empire State.
In one hand he saw the girl
and the other, swatting planes away
for fear of getting caught,
he needed to escape.
A damp tiny flat was perfect for that,
the journey from he to she.
Clothes became her bodies’ passion
nervous of the target on her back.
she burned her brightest into mirrored chrome,
smiling at a true reflection.
Clubs and drugs took away time
passing hands and faces in dark doorways
but the morning paper always unfolded
with a coffee and a shave.
I like to think she found a pillion for her scooter,
who tasted the same without the shame,
a two wheeled screamer that would hug her hard
and hold on tight to her fish tail.

What Is Love
Is it the sacrifice of motherhood
Is it something we say
Is it a feeling we misunderstood
Is it someone we can’t live without
Is it desire or passion
Is it trust or doubt
Is it emotional or a mental state
Is it a hand nailed to a cross
Or is it the reason why we hate
Is it something we say

At the Root of Me
I know I can be a little senseless, but there’s one thing that’s on my mind…
Darling, I crave you like my lungs need air, with a hunger too much to bear,
That quenching my thirst simply will lead to more and more constant longing,
That this yearning goes beyond both the physical and the spiritual and maybe
You’re right, I’m obsessed…
But my heart knows full well the distinction between love and fascination,
And what we found in our lives in the spec of all time is something special,
That the sole purpose in my life is to live a satisfying happiness with you,
But it also consumes me…
So I linger in the realms between dreams and fantasies beyond this world,
More abysmal than all the seas or past the stars in all the galaxies
Even more profound than what the human mind can conceive,
But I believe…
You’re at the root of me… in the hub…the core… in the crux of it all,
So deep and embedded in my heart and soul,
That words need not be exchanged when the is emotion felt and shared
But with a simple smile and glare…
And that a modest "ily" makes everything okay, even on the roughest day,
It reconnects us through the hustle and the bustle of our daily lives,
It reminds us of early love lost and found, no matter how much time passes by,
It takes us to that special place…
To where two star crossed lovers met and discovered that feeling at a young age,
And not understanding how or why or when the fates would decide their paths,
Until the time was right, it would be unique… exceptional…sensual…epic… epochal,
Maybe even immortal…
And if future generations or civilizations uncover and read our story,
This love will again transcend when they tell our tale, this allegory
They will wonder about the life we shared brought not by chance,
Or happenstance
But by destiny,
By what the universe placed in our hands,
And deeply embedded in my heart and soul,
At the root of me,
In the hub,
The Core
In the crux of it all.

Non existent existence
How can I call this an existence without you near me.
Never knowing the gentle caress of your touch across my face
Never having the chance to hold you in a loving embrace.
Has my heart racing from just the thought,
Of you and I being worlds apart.
Yet, growing closer from your looks and words
That quietly penetrate my mind day in and day out.
But still loud enough to force it’s way pass this impenetrable wall placed around my heart.
How can I call this an existence
Knowing that the days seem longer
As I count the hours, minutes and seconds
Until the moment I can feel your lips press against mine
Awaiting a chance to pull you close and freeze time,
so I can never let another second pass us by.
Taking in every look, laugh, smile, breathe, you give like it’s the last
Or as if time will catch up and take away this euphoric high.
How can I call this an existence without your light that warms my very soul.
Guiding me from the darkness that pulls at me from every corner.
Brightening up a path that leads to a future that was meant for me and you.
Giving a deprived life lost in the madness of this world, a reason to regain its sanity
Making a life thought to be only seen on tv or in movies a reality.
That’s why I can’t call this an existence now that I know you are out there
And I can’t exist knowing you are not here
So I’ll continue to live this life until time closes the distance
And call it my non-existent existence.
