You and Layla’s comments underline what I’ve said about being a poet, even though people say I’m a poet, I know I am just a scribbler, who can form some kind of expression

Yes, I agree. Some do not like our poetry for their own reasons. Nothing we can do about it. ❤️
I do poetry because I have to exorcise regularly. It's good for my soul. 😇
💡Also my brain has to do it or the light goes out... 💡enough to make me feel senile.
I can't let go of my desire to succeed at writing financially despite some people in my offline life trying to convince me I'm not able....
...but I can't stop no matter what. Not this year, at least! I need my brain!

It's a win win to both clear the cobwebs and improve through practice. You have a fresh, witty style that is lighthearted to read, I've enjoyed your entries so far, great job

It isn't an easy April! Better to double post than miss, I believe!

Greetings, Participants! Congratulations! If a bee is pollinating your Poppie, you've successfully navigated through the requirements to reach day 13 of the Challenge!
If it isn't, you know what to do ( or, should at this point ).

EPISODE 13/30
The USS Stanza, fully recharged, was back on course to planet Quoteunquote where the Webmistress and the stolen Muses were being held hostage.
"Cadets," explained Captain James T. Blaze, "The episode with those Birdbrains on that asterisk is EXACTLY why YOU need to write as many POEMS as you can whenever you can - because ANYTHING can happen!"
And that's when the slugs in terry cloth bathrobes stormed the Bridge without warning.
"Please tell us you didn't defrost the green worm!" they cried in unison.
"See what I mean?" Blaze said nonchalantly, munching on an apple.
Summer Yar confronted them, asking, "And why is that?"
Altogether the slugs replied, "He isn't a real worm - he's a Dummi Worm!"
"Great Scot!" Bones McTallen declared.
"Nope," said Blaze, twirling around in his reclining Captain's chair, "Scotty missed this mission; he's on vacation until May."
McTallen ignored him, animatedly saying, "A Dummi Worm has a dynamic biology that allows it to shape-shift into anything living of equal mass. It could be anywhere on the ship, masquerading as anyone of us!"
"You are correct, Doctor," said Spock-Josh, who smiled wide before turning into a translucent green gummi substance that spiritedly disappeared through a ventilation duct.
And that's when T'PoetsRevenge reported, "The Dummi Spock-Josh altered our trajectory and locked us out of the auto-pilot controls with a computer virus. We are on a direct flight path to the Baits Vending Corporation space station factory orbiting Risa in the Ooopsilon Ceti system."
"Of course we are," grumbled Commander Deannavati, "because everyone in the goddamn Universe wants to eat us."

Art is all subjective and I think everyone here is incredible! I am enjoying the challenge. Hit a bit of a wall yesterday but already finished today’s piece so think while it’s quiet I might write few more when I’m in the mode! Keep going I’m loving reading all your pieces, we are a talented bunch <3

Don't sell Yourself short, Brother

Good morning fellow poets of the Napo.... I was just wondering if anything I posted was any good to play in the treehouse with all the other Napo writers.... I'm used to being ostracized when it comes to comments or people's thoughts about what I write... I hope everybody had a happy and safe free Covid-19 Easter.....

Napo isn't about perfection, or who is good enough to play in the treehouse, sandbox, or playroom. Why? Because we are all in there together. NaPo is about writing as well as learning more about yourself as you write. Hopefully these discoveries will include things like: OMG! I can write even when I don't feel like it. Or, WOW! I will never say 'I can't write!' again.
Conversely, it's also about support—remember, we're a TEAM, not individuals, although individuals do indeed makeup the team. Thusly, if you want support on your work, then I suggest you support the work of others; you honestly do reap what you sow; however, remember that NaPo isn't about critiquing a NaPo'er. It's about supporting them.

This week was the 1st week i was ready to quit,
last year.
& so i know a thing or 2 about running on empty.
Even this year having NO muse to inspire and support me, i knew i'd struggle and this week has been a bitch.
& so i sit down with no music, noise or talking for 30 minutes and write............something.
I don't care if good or perceived good as i just want to post for another day.
i am not certain this helps You
but am hoping it does even if a wee bit
It helps to know I'm not alone in the struggle.
I'm also a little disheartened that I've fallen so far behind in reading other poets' entries. I really enjoy seeing what others come up with!
Anyway... onwards. Today is another day. Thanks for the encouragement.
