"Hopes and Dreams"

I have hopes and dreams
That one day you will remember me
That you will remember us
I look up at the stars most nights
And wonder where your travels have taken you
I wish that one day they will lead you into my arms

Hopes & Dreams

My travels to the stars of hopes & dreams!
For in my mind I’ve walked the galaxy;
The spiraling adventures of extremes
Were marvels to a vision I could see.

It showed what I could be & crystalized
My travels to the stars of hopes & dreams.
The people that I’d meet were mystified;
They never thought it possible, the themes!

I had an “aha” moment for a scheme,
And asked who’d like to go when I assign
My travels to the stars of hopes & dreams’,
They shouted instantly ‘where do we sign!’

It’s been a century since that was said,
There’s only two of us sharing our memes:
(We still meet twice a year, the rest are dead)
My travels to the stars of hopes & dreams.

In times like these (fleeing rainbows charity)

In times like these. comes our nemessis
it can outrun and never halt
consume and sweep this edifice
its fleet is set and no default

Fleeing all, with nowhere to run
the judge and jury all in one
that prisoner, the foolish shun
for each unwitting, labeled its felon

Condemn or commute a sentence passed
that bear hug with its choking cloak
its hammer blow will make you gasp
just distance is that antidote

And morning bring just brighter skies
rainclouds refract the hope,
that's in our souls
God shine rainbows hues, from darkend holes
mankind hear all church bell chime

The world must have a spring clean
comes charity, from times so dystopian
friends the beneficence from that infect
all learn the lessons of respect

In that maelstrom, a catharsis
to pinch yourself  and still feel pain
a bouquet sent by friends not a florist
the chase that ends but some remain

Clamentia claim the shards of our neglect
binding the reclaim of self respect
in the spectrums arch, will we reconnect
our spirits chased; our worlds reset

... Where He Felt At Home

He left
the beginning of decay
for the end
of a never ending misery

An occasion
celebrated in the rain
and a rainbow
lurking behind some grey clouds

There is nothing hopeful in a rainbow
nor outside it
around, over
or beyond it

Birds fleeing
Bird brains cheering
Bird shit following the rain

No reason
to notice it, then
or acknowledge its existence

Choice or charity
he had done it
from there to there
where he felt at home...

Strangers

Fragile dreams in trembling hands
Veils of darkness drape lost lands
Seduced by sirens
Candied calls
Like silken hair
The lies will fall

Dreamy seas that turn to black
Blood that runs down spines of backs
Their travels take them
All but dead
To Hell and back
With more ahead

Stars will fall upon new worlds
With poison dew upon the shore
Salvation is here
They rest their eyes
Though wake once more
Dehumanized

The hopes they cling to dissipate
Come to naught. Now it's too late
Forsaken now
They hang their heads
For once again
They've been misled
