Here’s what one of my sisters emailed me while trying to do shopping for me:

This is the super Walmart I always shop at. Almost nothing in the freezer sections, isles long. Trader Joe’s all their meats and freezer section completely empty.
Never in my life have I seen anything like this.“ 😳😟
For what it's worth, my local grocery is holding its own....And a new study revealed the anti-viral medication chloroquine is successful in fighting the coronavirus.
Dr. Gregory Rigano said their study found that those COVID-19 patients who took hydroxy-chloroquine were found free of the disease in 6 days. The patients were testing negative for the coronavirus in six days.
Dr. Rigano also said taking choroquine could act as a preventative.

if they do not include those of us in that position...
I myself , am in a home , as a roommate...
I get SSI , and limited food stamps...
Yet , if they give out money to those even
less need than many of us , in my position ,
or worse , they will be asking for serious trouble...
$940.00 a month , and $180.00 maximum a month
in food assistance , does not make it...reality check here...
So , they need to find a way to fund those who ***truly***
need that help , not just those that are able to get by...
if they do not include those of us in that position...

Only saw your reply just before work (....) so this is the first chance I've had to respond; no apologies are necessary. Believe me, I wish things were arranged over here so that everyone would stay home for a time. Too many panic variables, apart from the disease, in people's minds here (food, employment, utilities, etc.)
Many parents aren't worried because they've read that children are basically immune. What they don't understand is that while they may be immune to symptoms, that doesn't mean they are immune to contracting the virus, and thus transmitting it to other, more susceptible members of society, like the elderly or immunocompromised.
I shiver to think of the germs on that ball!
