Study the wrinkles
the path winds uncorrupted

Victim to a past

An empty canvas lie bare
To be filled once again

A new year begins
A time to start over new
But what will I do?

The clock strikes midnight
Another year passes by
A victim of time

The angels, they sing,
Joyous anniversary!
The bells of time ring

The birds are singing
The bells of time are ringing
A new years bringing
--
Another year gone
Lost to the abyss of time
And soon to the mind

Another year lost
Erased by the sands of time
A clean slate ahead
