The promised full analysis:
wallyroo92= I enjoyed the positivity that oozes from your poem. Many people relate to being out in the rain as a sign of cleansing and letting go of emotional chains, which you've clearly stated in the last line "Letting go of the past, waiting for a new day." Congratulations on bringing home the ribbon!
eswaller= Raw authenticity and emotion ooze from each meaningful word you've used in your bittersweet poem. I too often drown myself in reading to escape the unwanted sadness of everyday live, so congratulations for moving me with your poem and for your runner-up position!
Jade= Your meaningful words created a rather nostalgic feeling within me as I thought about the rain. Both good and saddening memories came to mind, yet that intensifies the beautiful of your poem. I find myself looking forward to the next thundershower. Congratulations on the runner-up position!
To everyone else, I'm so pleased that you've participated in my first trial competition of "A Picture Holds a Thousand Words." I've enjoyed reading all of your work and seeing just how uniquely you've interpreted the same image. Your interest has inspired me to continue the second month of this competition. I'll be creating it as soon this message is uploaded, so look out for it!
Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing you all in the next competition.
