There is a somewhat nefarious publishing house called Eber & Wein Publishing. They sent me an invitation to participate in their "Best Poets Of 2013" annual publication. I'll https://www.amazon.com/Best-Poets-2013-Vol-1/dp/1608802434 To see your published poem you had to buy the book for $60 or so. I purchased the book; saw my poem .nicely displayed; gave the book to my friend/muse that inspired the poem and she trashed it; it's a long boring humiliating chapter in my life to read more about that see my poem "Phantom Lunch Companion."
I was invited to participate in subsequent 0years. I sent one more but didn't buy the book so who knows if it was published. Call me naive but at least I had the chance to see my poetry in print and in an expensive book sold on Amazon.

That's awesome. I'm self-publishing some of my poetry. Keep working but have never pulled the triggrr.

My one and only poetry book to date was self-published (as Inner Journey Books) on Amazon in January 2016.
(I referred to it in passing in my poem "A Mind Off-Grid" (uploaded 2nd April, 2017). Ahavati's sharp eye noted it and pointed me to this page - thank you).

Currently only available as an e-book (kindle version)
There are 55 poems, some of which I have put on DUP.

Its title is:
"Wandering Monks & Orphan Pilgrims (poetry for the inner journey, book 1)"

The link is:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wandering-Monks-Orphan-Pilgrims-Journey-ebook/dp/B01AVHGYA6/ref=sr_1_7?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1491775394&sr=1-7&keywords=joshua+Bond

Forthcoming in 2017 I hope:
"Slow Man Awakening (poetry for the inner journey, book 2)"

Traditionally published, I Am Not.
Though I`d like to be.

Self-published, I Am.
10 novels/4 chapbooks
Life is good for the moment
especially if I don`t have to work anymore.

    ~

Bathroom Graffiti by Terry Smith (SatansSperm)
Roadkill by Philip Wardlow (Sebastian)
Linger & Other Short Stories by Glynis Rankin (Imagining)
Without Regret by David Allen (Diamonddave75)

are good books to read & support.

Get this book!  .. it's a ruthless read dripping with truths about the darker side of this thing we call humanity!

Any poet who follows or has been influenced by Anna Grin over the years would appreciate her self-published book "Anaerobic Inhale." And if you haven't discovered Grin yet, then I think this book is the perfect introduction to one of the most unique poets on Deep Underground.

Grin has been very calculated in the way she's put the book together [trying not to scare off unsuspecting readers not familiar with her unique style], things start off refined... no, maybe restrained is a better word, and slightly unsettling, kinda like the strange girl next door.  But before you know it, Grin's caught you with a grappling hook, dragging you across the hardstand to an abandoned factory, as the claws sink deeper, you will fall deeply infatuated with the jagged lines and sinister undertones of the poetry that is Grin.

There's no unnecessary filler, just the best of Grin in a concise collection of poems that I've read from start to finish several times.  Highly recommended.
