HARVEST DATE
Meeting a small fraction
Of her army of lovers
Harvesting redbud
Red hairs pulled by branches
Cackle giggle
Past barbwire brambles
And mountain mahogany
Pockets of pepperwood
All manner of triggers
And levers
To take
The blood sacrifice
Tripped in
The medicine field
Raked
By a thick branch
Nature is
A sharp-toothed dog
Bubbles as thick as leather
In the bogwater
Like bull kelp heads
The willow stand
Await their turn ...
Of her army of lovers
Harvesting redbud
Red hairs pulled by branches
Cackle giggle
Past barbwire brambles
And mountain mahogany
Pockets of pepperwood
All manner of triggers
And levers
To take
The blood sacrifice

one day
writing of the love I feel
for that one, that my heart appeals
that love I feel
moves earth and sea
that love is all that I need
and that I give to you
I to planted a seed in you
like most great things it took time
a most worth wait
it takes my breath away
you wish for me to write
about more of to day
I don't know what to say
these are your feelings
your new passion season
that twinkle once in your eyes
I see a much brighter light
a smile an impassioned love gives
It say I have pleasure to give ...

The Winter Birch
Pillars, grown from patience.
Each new ring to wear.
Each reaching for the sky.
But there, one droops.
It stands out by not standing tall.
Perhaps it is to fall,
It's leaves.
Standing so naked, bare.
Of which named the same has left it's mark.
Slashes from it's claws.
Scratches of its back to bare it's weight.
And the hives and nests that came before,
Will not hang safe anymore.
For the tree it would seem,
Feels like dying.
It's white birched bark,
Camouflaged by the snow.
As it's...

Perplexing Dreams
Based on a true story
I've been having strange dreams that I can’t interpret
Each dream is like the one I had the previous night
In my dreams I have incredible energy and power
I’m like a disembodied super-intelligent life form
I have invisible wings and I can fly faster than angels
The dreams seem to be real events and it perplexes me
I’m always afraid of ugly spirits or something else
And I'm always trying to escape from things I can’t see
I feel like I’m trapped in a dark underground place
And I explode like a bomb to get out,...

Reprieve .
He should have been know as colours as his soul was tethered to the dawning of new days . In blues and whites with a smatterings of greens . Every morning that his eyes set upon such simple gifts he felt very affluent given gold coins to put in his pocket. He wasn’t a man to waste time he had been challenged in ways you don’t want to be and it made him blatantly aware of that rhythmic beating in his chest and how with the grace of god he had been blessed . With a reprieve of living with the knowledge that it had been a close call to close for comfort but he was was miraculously gifted extra...

My Dreams
I lost my teeth eating your sugary sweets. Resetting my dreams. Slowly reviving my dreams. My heart is shattering while I am taking your advice. My bell is ringing on my mark. I drank some blue liquid and I feel dizzy. Time to burn my childhood memories. Equally sharing this cake. Trying to escape this dimension of hate. I flushed my dreams down the toilet.

Managers That Let Guys Sexually Harass You
Drunk on lies.
Pretending they're not spies.
She needs attention from guys.
That no one likes.
Pretending she's right.
On camera, all night
Staring is how she fights.
Her friends deny.
The way these guys,
Try to get between my thighs.
It's amazing they're alive.
Should be rotting in prison for life.
She's amazingly bright.
The way she pretends to cry.
When I point out how much she lies.
Claiming she has legal rights.
Harassing the polite.
In the middle of the...

house of mimes
what comes to mind- when you imagine a house of mimes? I'd like to imagine at most communicationwise-ASMR vibes- I'd like to imagine nature before every living animal had arised- are deeply innerstood by these archetypes....
I'd like to imagine- a community that genuinely harmonized; I'd like to imagine with many of the "conflicts" known to man- wouldn't arise due to a synchronicity actualized....
a house of mimes?... a corrupted mind would judge and overly criticize; nonverbal interactions- the energy from these types would hit with a stronger...

In The Depths Of The British Museum
in the depths of the British Museum,
in a small basement, largely neglected,
lie bronze, papyrus and bacteria,
packed in crates, unopened, undetected...
there is one, beneath the rest, wherein lies
a corpse, bequeathed in 1893...
it is forgotten and unclassified,
donated, it seems, anonymously...

he was a keen butterfly collector,
he grew lavender and came from Provence...
and why he was left to the museum
had all to do with these sunflowers, once...

Finding Balance
I wake up lying on my back
with sunlight pouring down
on my face and the murmur of
the running water close by.
There is a brilliant ache
in my optic nerve
and a steady, painful throbbing
at the base of my skull.
I hear a distant thunder
of the approaching migraine.
So, I rolled on to sit upright
tucking my head between my knees.
The first heavy breaths felt like
someone has put a steel wedge
between my rib cage.
So, I groaned through the pain
and forced my eyes to open.
And they barely...

First Night In A New Place
It is quiet, far too quiet for me. The static stillness of the country gives the impression of time slowing down. I find a beer in the fridge, sit on the sofa bed and drink. I don't want to go to sleep. Sleep frightens me. My recovery from the attack took several years. Surgery. Knee problems from the impact of the bar. Headaches, double vision. I had to surrender my driving licence for a while, and I never played rugby or soccer again.
I slip in to an old jumper and a pair of boxer shorts, and climb into bed, but for much of the night I remain awake, reading but struggling to...

Druids to the Dryads
they say whispers dwell in ancient woods
when the earth populated by playful gods
then druids walked with wisdom
assuring spirits of nature's abundance
congregating neath boughs of trees
tall and towering leafy canopies
they sheltered spirits that dwelled
within their embraces so ancient
they guard the realms with staffs of oak
while dryads dance in sunlight's glow
laughter light with shimmery skin
in emerald skirts they dance and bow
they say that when twilight appeared
they merged as one in magical ebb ...
