I only want to see what I like
I don't have to listen to anything.
I have to eat and I have to sleep.
I want to see mommy's eyes in the morning
everything shines, everything warms.
I want to see butterflies fly
why do birds sing
Tell me mom, is the world really that beautiful?

I want your red lips
When the stars are falling from the sky, I see it flashing outside the window.
I think of you, you are my star close.
I promise you blue from the sky and gray like your soul.
Blue, gray, white, whatever you want.
Red blood beats in your veins anyway.
I just want to see your red lips.
When we divide the luck, only half remains.

How can you live with a calm face?
When everything is roaring inside, a storm is brewing.
You want to forget what you promised the children

Picked up a parlor guitar 11/21
Picked up a parlor guitar on 11/21
Picked up a guitar on a cold November
I don’t remember when I felt this down
Started strumming but it’s all about being blue
Strum a little longer I get up off the floor
Stomp my foot and feel the beat
But I just lost my shoes and belt
Hear that metal ring as it’s closing
I got the prison blues with no shoes

walls of steel, bands of gold
when you know the hurt is real
but your broken
and numb
to how you feel
now your heart is under seal
surrounded by thick
heavy walls of steel
you know
no matter who they are
they'll never break through
no matter what they say
no matter what they do
you know
your never going to change
you'll never break free
who you are now
is who you will always be
sometimes the chains that bind you
are heavier than you can stand
sometimes the light that blinds you
comes from a golden wedding band

Blood Red Moon Rising
I see a blood red moon rising
I see sedition on the way
Looks like some nasty weather
Tried a coup so it’s onto the next
Tin foil hats and fur hat shamans
Crazies are on the right
Villains are on full view
Talk so crazy and unpatriotic
Lost their way on the Orange mountain of lies
Think that being true is having a big flag
And casting demons on the other shore
Lost on the orange mountain of lies
But their skeletons come back for more
They think a storm is a comin ...

Beauty is in the eye
Different from person to person
See beauty in the most confounding places
Hair out of place shouldn’t matter

Prisoners of perfection
Mirror doesn’t turn around

Death by a thousand cuts
Pecking here and snipping there
Anything I do doesn’t rise up

Will free her from your missing the point ...

Don’t think about it

Keep it simple and true

Or pick at scabs
Let the healing begin on the tip of my pen
I’m feeling it it feels so good
Like my soul has taken a shower
My armpit smells like basketball
But my iron is hot
Like a blacksmith
Pounding em out
Soul on metal feels real good
Every nerve dances and pulsates
Tingles down my legs
I can’t carry a tune
But I can create one
