Poet Introduction
I'd describe myself as a quirky poet, rarely sticking to one style/genre. Above all, I don't like taking poetry too seriously; my favourite thing about being creative is having fun and incorporating humour wherever possible!

I am a 23 year old autistic woman who is fascinated by the written word. Recently, I graduated with a master's degree in English literary studies, eager to strengthen my writing abilities.
My favourite writing style is poetry, and I have been writing poems since I was a child, even entering poetry competitions and begging my secondary school English teachers for constant criticism.
As an autistic individual, writing has been a fundamental source of escapism for me. Growing up neurodivergent in a world that struggles to effectively meet your needs is immensely challenging, so my highest priority in life is to advocate for all neurodivergent people, young and old.
I have just finished working on a degree in education, in which I have taught English to young people. This, even more so than before, has inspired me to continue writing. In my opinion, literacy is the most important subject in the world because it teaches you that words have the power to change the world (hopefully mine can be a positive addition to the internet!).
