Have been reading some books lately, and the most recent one I read involved poetry; I used to write a lot of it when I was in high school, but stopped. I've been trying to write a fictional book for a few years and need some motivation, and rather than a blog I think I might just pick up the poetry again, and found this site.
Poetry is always interesting...you can blatantly say what you're feeling without worrying of it being mis-interpreted, mostly because people interpret what they want from it anyways. It can also be worrisome to write down personal feelings - I'm a private person and don't share feelings, but I might make an exception or two in this case.

Uh so ya...I'm not really one for sitting down taking hours with a poem, it just spews out and I write it, and don't really go back and edit.
