wooing betwixt and between
Dark is a sorceress
within mine withered heart
I hold you
beneath these frozen waters
a voided path
where so many times
death has asked me
to forgive
though a true silkie
is kept within salted streams
thawing waves wintered
away our humanness
as we carved
proclaiming deepest
dearest psalms
within his palms
pressed against mine
the hourglass
where time hides
frocked frost
upon a window
lulls lilting heads
as nightshade
roses
in mantic dusk ...

A Night in the Museum
I was attending a meeting
hosting a keynote speaker
whom I did not know
During the presentation
the internet connection was lost
and I found myself sitting
next to the speaker
discussing potential options
for a better connection
A fundraiser was suggested
while he politely asked
if I was a Sociologist
At that time, the host
a gangly old man, obviously
frustrated by our discourse
abruptly blurted out:
"We don't use oracle cards...

onward
channeling the universes I see a thousand eyes staring at me
drinking in my humanity
sharing observations and personal judgements
we are not alone other galaxies are weighing in
using artificial intelligence to safely introduce themselves
preparing our minds to meet
they have recorded existence here and are a part of it
they want us to be aware
full of beautiful traditions and vastly intelligent
some of us share DNA with them
they have always been with us
we were sent here to learn
humanity is not...

Delphic Depressions
Comingling with some foresight frets
I see a future of regrets
where the outcome is rarely good
if ever it is understood
that within a Pythian song
is all of that which could go wrong
when the hand of fate makes a fist
confirming it as nihilist
almost as if it were a god
committed to soul crushing fraud
where jubilation in our youth
decays into the painful truth
where things will seldom go our way,
even on the sunniest day,
since all the physics now in play...
are all, to death, a grand ballet.
I see a future of regrets

So many falling stars
In the corridors of thought
where shadows white is sublime
wheels of memory spin
in circles they turn
whispers of forgotten dreams
linger in the air.
Faces in the mirror
reflections of the past
moments fleeting by
too precious to outlast
colors of emotion
in a kaleidoscope's embrace.
Echoes of a heartbeat
in the silence of the night
thoughts like scattered leaves
take their secret flight
twirling like a dance
on the edge of the unknown.
Threads of golden memories
woven...
where shadows white is sublime

blown away
the sun lost his dominance
as thick clouds bullied him into shadow
turning afternoon to complete darkness
no thunder...no lightning...no rain
only the gods breath in full fury
& things meant to stand tall & proud became horizontal
abasing themselves in the face of it
fallen trees & sundered limbs covered the streets
those caught unaware
{among them...my daughter...}
forced to dodge flying debris
we had no warning
& with one loud boom...power gave out
my tiny basement with its crowding...
as thick clouds bullied him into shadow
turning afternoon to complete darkness
