we make new names for old Gods
The evening sky blushes through my window
between twilight and darkness we lie, looking out
waiting for the stars through the
leafy silhouettes of palm tress
I try to teach you all the names
of the creeping constellations
but you make up your own
giggling into the deepening sky
We are so small under the burning tendrils of light
and so blessed to see them, and name them at all

Periodic Table of Arguments
Oxygen, a fiery little redhead with a southern drawl, tapped her foot impatiently.
"Hydro, honey, you're fixin' to make a fool out of yourself. Carbon is obviously gonna choose me. We make water together, darlin'. Everybody needs water. It's the lifeblood of everything!"
Hydrogen, Oxygen's nervous little sister with a squeaky voice, wrung her hands.
"You're so bossy!" Whispering loudly. "So grabby! You hog all the electrons! I offer Carbon a nice, even share. Think of all the cool stuff we can build together – hydrocarbons, the...

Haunt The Stars
Drifting. Drifting. Drifting
A cold silence deeper than the void
The aching wound at the center of my being
For you, I burn. For you, I hunger
Come unto me
My sweet lamentation
Come into my embrace
And surrender your flesh
That I may drink of marrow and spirit alike
I roam the blackened firmament
The sky of the dead
Where no prayers rise
Where no saints intercede
Await my arrival with arms open
For I am the hand that was stayed
The blade that was broken
The voice that fell silent at...

silent beauty (stars)
another
early morning
before
the sun
even dreams
of waking,
the cluster
of stars
visible
somewhere,
even though
hidden from
my view,
i know
they are
just
above me,
silent beauty
waiting.

Oh Elara, Where Art Thou?
Elara, a cartographer of the cosmos, traced the swirling nebulae projected onto the dome of her observatory. Dust motes, illuminated by the starlight simulator, danced like miniature galaxies. She wasn't charting constellations; she was mapping the spaces between them, the dark rivers where stardust flowed. Her grandmother, a woman who read the whispers of the wind and the rustle of leaves, called it "starmist," the veil between worlds.
Elara, a scientist, preferred the language of parsecs and light-years. Yet, sometimes, when the hum of the machinery faded, she felt a...

Morning Star
Morning star knows her beloved
Her intimate fragrance lies upon your pillow each night
She has lived out many an eternity
Her final influence on your dreams comes just before mornings light
A harbinger of melodies
The first song of light
A remembrance of reflection
Never lost in the night
A lullaby of dreams
From your first vista to your last sight

Softly Stargazing
I have been loving this awakening moment in time
It has taken me so many years to be in heart, mind, body and giving thanks to my soul
To not allow the small occurrence in life to rock my morale
It is best to live in the moment
I listen daily to so many troubled intellects and they scream for peace, serenity of their heart
Endorphins and Adrenaline is the body’s best friend
Such a natural high when both are merged is to calm or a flight in your weakened defense
If everyone would only tap into the resources of its on psychic ...

The moon
I have always found the moon.
The embodiment of incantation.
That silver shine!
Those bewitching,
Enchanting,
Glitters!
Always
Delicate!
And mysterious!
Intricate in the dark forest
If I ever were to ask myself:
«How it would feel to be that way?»
I guess I’ll know the answer.
I feel mesmerizingly beautiful. Astounding luminous glow.
My lovelight spreads all over the universe. I stand so proud letting my feminine wilds flow.

Why do we torture ourselves with this shit?
Why do we sit through any of this?
Here I am / there you were
They were once near
Now, no more

The story survives… until it doesn’t.
The writer smiles,
ash on their fingers:
“Chaos, I borrowed
your teeth to bite
eternity. Now eat.”

Cosmic anomaly
Floating in awe towards what appeared a porcelain glaze.
Facing the inescapable pull of that dense, pitch blackhole.
Another cuckoo traveller, bound to grace the twisting whirlpool.
To be folded like origami then distended, mercilessly.
