15 billion miles from Earth
My son sits and wonders what’s beyond the universe
A bunny hops into the grass and we laugh and giggle
I think my son can be an Astronaut for Ages
We stare at the sky sometimes I don’t know why
We watch 3 crows chase a bigger Hawk
We always appreciate the beauty of nature
Go in the back yard pitch baseballs in the net
As we do, me and you are like me,we are on a string
See bumble bees times two buzzing around us
So we throw the ball back and forth ...

Tetrahedrons Parallel
tetrahedrons parallel
subatomic charge
in the worlds invisible
as seen from this, the large
between the ultra-violet
and the infrared
between first inhalation
and when at last we're dead
again within the Bardo
ecstatically to dream
that we're awake in heaven,
or that's how it will seem
time going on forever
as we disappear
becoming one together
with all to us that's near
as tetrahedrons parallel

Delphic Depressions
Comingling with some foresight frets
I see a future of regrets
where the outcome is rarely good
if ever it is understood
that within a Pythian song
is all of that which could go wrong
when the hand of fate makes a fist
confirming it as nihilist
almost as if it were a god
committed to soul crushing fraud
where jubilation in our youth
decays into the painful truth
where things will seldom go our way,
even on the sunniest day,
since all the physics now in play...
are all, to death, a grand ballet.

Wolves howl
As the shrieking cold of winter
Brushes over the barren lands
beneath the endless time continuum
Of the starry night
Aurora Borealis paints the skies
In cool relief
Until the darkness is no more

Ultimately Nullified
All is ruination supreme
and life a bitter joke
in desolation nightmare scream
on universal folk...
as if in horror cinema
whose cast must suffer stunts
where matter force in minima
means bearing real brunts.
Thus for sure reality sucks;
a clock just winding down
away from youth and thrilling fucks
like verbs reduced to noun.
And so to death we modify,
even during Yule,
regifting fodder when we die;
with ourselves as gruel.

The Lovers
What a cruel thing
To separate two lovers
So deeply intertwined and tangled
In each other
Not with surgeons hands
With precision to save a life
They hacked away with chainsaws
Cleavers, butchers knives
Now both of them are bleeding
Harsh wounds are hard to sooth
A love that once gave meaning
Now rots under the moon
Let’s be gentle with our lovers
They came from the same star
We’ve come too far to hate them
And destroy without regard

Putting a bearing on smooth rails
Precision sailing through Panama Canal
Brush the mirror into completion
Possessive in me 200 inch disk
5 tons of glass 2 millionths of an inch perfection
Pause before barbarity task of polishing
Job is done on Mount Palomar telescoping me
Saw the life and death of stars I’m one of them
Capabilities within you it amazes me
Hubb has seen 12 billion light years in front of us

Magnetic Fields
minute by minute,
hour by hour
day after day,
the Sun shares its power
with electric fingers
reaching through space
bringing something that lingers
as we each face
magnetic fields swirling
moving us on
spinning and twirling
carried along
we're all in motion
all of the time
in a plasma ocean
in which we find
all the many lifetimes
every birth -
all the rhythms and rhymes
here on the Earth...
