Beige pigs in long wigs
I hear her and her
cronies snorting
and laughing on
four seaters
so I went over,
leaning against
her chair like
some villain
she expects
us to become
told her i'm joining in
on the conversation,
knowing I overheard
her talking about me
her three friends look
down at the floor as
the train rolls into
London St Pancras
as she continues
to deny discussing
about me soon as
I stepped aboard
this rush hour train,
I repeat word
for...

He-She-Other
Eyeing life side-eyed asphyxiated in this spotters scope
concave monocular teetering in and out of trance
Observant surveilling wretched buffoonery trending
cyclic magnified in this inauspicious life dance
Shrewd to learn intricate reasoning in depths of people
evolved judgemental life views secluded
Laid in the cut calm as a fly on the rancid wall
gender-neutral bathroom festering larvae included
Planted trigger behaviors become iridescently apparent
in blank jungle silence of blossoming juvenile minds
Passive watching random demonic ongoers...

This morning
I read a
poem about
nails tapping
into coffins
and I think
about how
many of my
siblings
hear the
same nails
tapping in
their lives
across a
pond
right
now.

Ode to a little black coat
My arms grew
out of your seams
they cross over
my sides like they
could almost break
I pace concrete sweating
into another day, knowing
eight years of hard wear
is carrying a shipwreck
you were more than
sharp edges, lapels,
silk lining, a scruffy
collar raised up
you soaked up tears
waiting for boys in blue,
said never mind to snot
marks they left over
your shoulders
as they leaned
on you like a pillow,
keeping them warm
with fire you had ...

What if wonderland
was the underbelly
of the world alice
thought they knew
the rabbit hole
being the spine
they fell through,
alice watches
a pocketwatch
ticking inside
their ribcage
as tea slowly
pumps around
their blue china
thread veins,
further down
alice greets
a posse of
whispering
flower buds
that bloom slowly
singing golden
afternoon in
their stomach,
spinning around
as their blue and
white clothes
puff inside ...

Please write me down with your eyes
note the smile I gift
walking across these
white chlorine tiles,
did you believe I was broken
lost in strange text fonts
covered in hateful lies
does my irony upset you
as my scars dance naked
in broad daylight?
does my small frame offend you
as my body ripples water we
happen to share and glide
does my laughter slice
through your pupils
measured in media
sized ignorance?
please write me down
with your eyes,
my scars will
bare a smile
back at you.

but never prepare
recipes when a body
begins to blossom.

Fuss
It does not cause a fuss when you speak against the king or president of a country.
And if you speak against the police or the military, you will not be labelled as a hater.
So why does it cause a big uproar when someone speaks against LGBTQ people?
When did homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgender people become so important?
If they were doing the right thing, they would not care what others say about them.
Heterosexuals do not march with flags and demonstrate for straight people rights,
Neither do they go around and talk nonsense about being proud to...

What Is Your Name?
No, I think you misunderstood. I mean the name on your birth certificate.
The name your parents handpicked themselves
When they sat down with that giant book of names imagining what their future child would be like.
So I ask you again, what is your name?
Oh.
It's so similar though.
What's the point in changing your name if you're going to pick one identical?
At that point just stick with your real name
Instead of making up one
I mean I don't like my name but I never tried changing it
Because my mother gave me that name

Not The Weight Loss Miracle He Had In Mind
Norman created a formula
that might make him become thinner.
But after he gulped down,
he felt strong pains and blacked
out. When he woke up,
he looked at the
mirror. He
is now
She.

A Journey through Sexuality and Gender
i was taught as a child
Straight was the only way
It was never acceptable
For anyone to decide that they were gay
men who liked men
lived their lives in sin
A disgusting abomination
As time went on
I left my dogma behind
i opened my eyes
expanded my mind
Why should I care if a guy wants a guy?
Once or twice, one even caught my eye
It wasn't wrong
But it still wasn't good
They were often cast out
And always misunderstood
I thought that I believed that it really was alright
But I realized even I was still...

The Straight People Express
We’re boarding an exclusive automobile.
This transport doesn’t carry LGBT people.
If homosexuals are waiting on the road,
We’ll pass them and we won’t look back.
If we see any lesbians hitchhiking,
We won’t stop and give them a lift.
If stranded bisexuals flag down the vehicle,
We’ll just pretend not to see them.
If transgender people ask for a ride,
We won’t let them travel with us.
But if we meet heterosexuals along the wayside,
We’ll stop and say, “Welcome aboard.”
