Until We Meet Again
Until We Meet Again”
Sew my dreams into your seeds.
Such harvest eternal feeds
Bright fires like a rage…
And when you turn the page
There is writ in lines between
What was said and what has been
The old passage that the skies recite
Between the ghosts that kiss the night—
It is a tale as old as time has passed.
As it was the first word, it too shall be the last.
Do you hear the whisper of this night unbroken,
With the echo of the word unspoken?
It is a silence that the first man heard
And the last man shall hear...
Sew my dreams into your seeds.
Such harvest eternal feeds
Bright fires like a rage…
And when you turn the page
There is writ in lines between
What was said and what has been
The old passage that the skies recite
Between the ghosts that kiss the night—
It is a tale as old as time has passed.
As it was the first word, it too shall be the last.
Do you hear the whisper of this night unbroken,
With the echo of the word unspoken?
It is a silence that the first man heard
And the last man shall hear...

The Doves
The Doves”
It seems we’ve reached the end of our disease
To see blue skies and feel a summer breeze.
(I wonder)
But I see the doves have flown away,
And the skies begin to decay
The way we still recall—
Do we prefer to watch them fall?
We’ve reached the edge of the thunder.
And still, we gaze in wonder
At the doves who gather in their wings
The rains of future springs.
What do they know of where we have been?
Is there any Heaven they have not seen?
When the hours dry, where shall they climb?
As the sky...

On Identity and Tolerance

Faggots
The roots of language always tell
the bitter edge of things.
A box of gobs of charred offal
can also be something evil:
a group of men become ashes,
and just for fucking other men.

Twin
Twin”
Settle into the night and say goodbye.
I don’t want you to leave if I have to die,
As the nicotine clings to my fingertips
When the dead breathe onto our lips.
Take me away—take me from this cavity—
I cannot fill it with what’s inside of me
It’s eating my skin under everything
And all I needed was your understanding.
I cannot sleep without dying for you—
Thinking every day brings something new:
But I waken and the sky’s on fire—
I could not save one life or the world entire—
Everything is burning as I see what...

The Unanswered--the Unasked
The Unanswered—the Unasked”
I longed to speak, if only as a whisper
Hoping that you would answer,
Though death might take me
I feared your heart might break me.
Fragile perhaps my bones may be
But no pain is greater than that calamity
Of a callous word then spoken:
To a heart newly mended, so newly broken.
We were tears together,
Falling always, falling ever
To the song of roses red.
But silence only do you shed
On the petals as they wilt
As we justify your guilt.
But I must kiss the lie
You’re telling...
I longed to speak, if only as a whisper
Hoping that you would answer,
Though death might take me
I feared your heart might break me.
Fragile perhaps my bones may be
But no pain is greater than that calamity
Of a callous word then spoken:

on control
it's amazing
how rigged the system is
how old aged wrinkled ballsacks
give more rights
to what weapon
you can
carry
but god
forbid anybody
having choice
over their
reproductive
system
or a gay pub
in oslo
celebrating
their right
to freely love
it doesn't stop
because
an armed man
must barge in
to a safe
space
parading
violence
with a
gun,
are you ...

this is my selfish poem
because
you are not
the only one
who's got it
real bad,
all my life
i've always
been asked
to consider
the others
perspective
no matter
how stupid
hypocritical
incorrect
or bigoted
i've believed it
to have been
including every
'ism' and 'obia'
that's been
thrown
my way
as well
as being
targeted ...

Franclyn’s Lament III
I have all the essentials I need: a phone, a morning after pill, and a wig. Two of them help me put food in my stomach. The other helps me keep it down. I hope I can make it through without taking it. It’s not like I chose to be this way. Nobody can choose. If they could, many would opt out for what I have between my legs. I know I would.

Franclyn’s Lament II
It hardly counts as running away. It’s been six years since I first voted. I know I’m skinny and could pass off as a high schooler. With no where to go, the world is a dangerous place for someone like me. I enter at my own risk carrying a baseball bat. It’s the best I can do. Where I live, I can easily get a hold of something more powerful. Even so, it’s better not to cross state lines with a concealed carry. It’s not like keeping a gun in my backpack will save me from an attacker.

Franclyn’s Lament
How do you feel attachment towards those around you? When the one’s you love talk about the evil in this world, you can’t help but be wounded. Of course, we’re not talking about you. But they are. Because of their hate, I feel no remorse. Only a will to get out.
