Oh, my God, he speaks tenderly to my mind
The sentiments, the enunciation of his vowels, the dialect of a warrior’s intellect
Divine love lashes, felt, potent, addictive, smooth than expensive wine
He caresses the softness of my heart
He’s my mental utopia
Loving me blissful in the cloak of dark
His lips trailing succinct love notes all over me
If this is what Heaven feels like, then we will commence the flow of our sacred greet

Morning Light
Morning light pours into the room
Where once the shadows dwelled
The deepest pits inside my head
Drown in light once again
The darkest thoughts vanish
Tainted memories shatter away
The sun a beacon I long for
To guide me on to another day
A familiar feeling upon my skin
The nostalgic feeling I can’t explain
A happiness warm and overwhelming
I can feel a smile on my face again
I wish that this feeling never ends
