A Fine Show
I am that lone bird
Floating on the breezes
In an ever darkening sky
The rippling ocean
Comes to life
Dashing it's heaving waters
Against the pebbled shoreline
I see the storm arriving
As i seek shelter
In the caves by the castle ruins
And just as i enter
A flash of lightning
Arcs across the night sky
I see other birds
Their heads down
Awaiting the storms end
The roar of the ocean
Along with the thunder, and lightning
Pierces the inner sanctum of the cave
Eventually, the tempest begins to ease ...

Today's Weather
Cloudy with a chance of bitchy rain,
blowing both hot and cold
Bring sunscreen and an umbrella
gentle loving warmth,
interspersed with freezing sleet
Bring a bikini and a pitchfork
Mercurial temperatures developing,
stepping outside could be life threatening,
like throwing a toaster in a hot tub
Bring flowers on bended knee,
seek forgiveness from the powers that be
Perchance with appeasement
the storm will relent
and the sun will emerge with a smile and sex

Clouds Collide
clouds like white cotton candy
fluffy in the sky of blue
tuck together and dance merry
when wind comes their way
as two strangers meeting by chance
eyes meeting and sparks ignite
hands reach out for gentle touch

when clouds drift and collide
within the confine of nature's dome

I don't care about the lightning strikes
I don't care if the thunder roars
It's just a little electricity
And I've seen it all before
Another storm of the century
Blowing extra hard
The tide rises and buries the headland
Another billion or two lost for sure
It's just what we all ordered
Why act surprised that it came
If you fuck with Mother Nature long enough
She'll come and fuck with you in trade
Now that beachfront property might not be worth much for long
The new tide is rising
Drowning the old ways
Better pray like...

even as the darkened clouds
begin to cover the blue sky
hiding the sun away,
the darkness and rain
will not discourage me.
in the middle of a storm
beauty can be found,
the raindrops persist
while quietly falling
and playing on the ground.
nature shares her plans,
it is so easy to find
everything is provided
with the storm comes rain,
and bright flowers bloom.

waiting,
for the storm
to shed
its raindrops,
as she began to shed
her clothing,
i watched her

in the rain,
her open arms
inviting
each silver drop,
to confront her,
