The Boneyard
We lay mangled
By some unseen hand
Well, I saw it
I don’t know if you did
Did you see your lion?
I turn my head
I can’t make eye contact
You walk away
Always stronger than I
No one can see what we carry
No one can see what we hold
It is as dark as the darkest night
I know, cliché right?
But really…
Some dark nights offer respite
When the lions don’t come
But some dark nights just let them come
Who’s really in charge?
I can’t raise my arms
I can’t move my legs
So, I surely cannot walk away ...

“It’s Just Too Late”
Full on adults now I often think what we could’a been; I’m sure its on top of the world writing books for little children. Being a fan of your work you really challenged my hand and helped prefect my pen. And I must admit I always come around checking again and again to see your fonts. Hoping I can read between the lines and get a glimpse of your thoughts.
It’s like a heartbreak all over again when I write about these feelings because I awaken the emotions only I seem to be feeling. It’s hard to be morally correct and not selfish.

Mental wars
While trying to find myself i lost myself even more
The world out there is rough, i don't even know what i was looking for
At first i felt like a kid in a candy store
Realizing to late that my fate A state of war
War rules apply in the need for survival
No Trust, no mercy and no love. Everyone's a rival
Get too close and a burn is without a doubt
A warning before it even begins- Bow out!
Like a Viking on the shore of a rich kingdom I moored
Invading your gates and raiding your home with a drawn sword
I took your gold and...

I got up and disposed of the condom.
Looking in the bathroom mirror I thought
'you really don't feel anything for her do you?'

My only worry was if I smelled like cigarettes.

Waiting to do anything for you

There are times I wonder about how you just moved on…you made it look simple.
Drop the axe on the cord and severe it with no looking back. So absorbed in yourself indulgent and very self-inflicted pain that you never looked at the devastation that you brought into my world. How did I deserve that?
You presented yourself as a victim of love and broken promises, and yet it was just a blueprint of lies used to lure in the sad and vulnerable.
Laughter echo's inside my mind at times. The first phone call, with you talking like Pee Wee...
