Vernal Lives Entwine
She touches the people of her life
with her husband as her labor of romance
or her case study in the healing power of love.
She seeks to find out what can’t women heal?
Her role in the universe is that of world mender.
And so their journey begins with
her rose petal caress on his face.
He wishes to be the glove
who holds a red rose against his soft cheek
She is his angel of the morning
Who breathes life into his withered heart
with velvet softness that knows no plight
She gathers him for...

Where Flora, Fauna And Beneficent Humans Gather - Part 2
Armada of kaleidoscopic land vessels
ephemeral flourishing flotilla
constructed, garnished with all natural material from all around the world
grain, grasses, seeds, and flowers
romantic, fantastical, peaceful, exciting mobile dioramas
with invisible conveyance
perhaps a pirate ship with jolly buccaneer crew
with rice paper sails, hemp rigging,
a cannon made black with poppy seeds, riding pampas grass waves
maybe a princess in her palace
with royal gardens of roses, carnations, and chrysanthemums
with a wooing prince astride a...

Petals So Sweet
Those soft petals that bloom...
Their beauty is for me and you...
Not all flowers are soft and sweet...
Some tops can cut you very deep...
A memory they can bring back...
It can be good but it can be bad...
don't blame the flower so soft so sweet...
That flower doesn't know you or know me...
Take joy in the colors that blossom in spring
Without their beauty our hearts could not sing
Take hold of their fragrance so pure and clean
They'll soon be gone but will be back next spring
These flowers give us daily life ...

deflowered
a young man stills a rose to stir his beau
i.
the ravished rosebush bows her bleeding head,
disconsolately trembling in the dawn;
the hands of fate have tiptoed to her bed,
and now the flower of her youth is gone.
II.
sepals and petals crushed and pistil torn,
the motherbush weeps for her ruddy child:
cursed be the day, she says, that i was born,
my heaven and my earth unreconciled!
iii.
too soon the young man bows at jasmine's door,
intent to woo his love, bouguet in hand;

women will always love roses
Envy of their thorns will always persist
In my own soul I have always longed for thorns
Roses are still a beautiful threat of violence
No matter how much good breeding they do
There will always be thorns alongside them

Thorny Love
Prickly like a cactus
When too much practice
Love becomes malpractice
In small doses
Then Exposes
The roses

red-rose rush
Oh my luve's like a red, red rose,
That's newly sprung in June;
Oh my luve's like the melodie
That's sweetly played in tune.—Robert Burns
lack i flamboyance?
yet, am i the rose,
short-lived,
upon the altar of your
sudden pluck,
which kills
my sweet repose,
aborts my blush.
little annoyance,
that my bodyguarding
thorns
should sink their teeth
bone deep
into your flesh:
it does not cure
your red-rose rush.

Storms and Snails
My chest won't stop pounding and ears are ringing alarms
As the storm rages just barely staying outside
The wind slamming violently loud against the house
The rain drops so large it sounds like hail
The rose bushes mimicking screams against glass
I close my eyes tight and just picture a snail
Small and common brown they go unnoticed
Always steady and always seeming to know the way
A snail is always exploring, they rarely stop
Laying trails for other snails to see and know
Their shell forever a swirl, the size their age
I focus...

Wolves bring Frozen Roses in the Peak of Winter - part3

vined in the making

her long hair and wing kept winter
absorbed the sorcery of it all

Wolves bring Frozen Roses in the peak of Winter - part2
cantering over
with precipitous hope
that disappeared in the dark.......
with her left behind cloak
flapping in the wind
sniffing around frantically
ice crystals melting
turning my nose to stone
burying in my coat
but her wafer of wicked scent
still faintly alive
hibernating in leaves and needles
I continued on
because for her I was dogmatically bent
surely led me
to the finding of her sweet flesh
vulnerable and open
partly dolly-broken
panting for each breath
as my rose had thawed...
