He had the last laugh
Bradley lived more life
In a swift twenty-seven years
Than we could ever dream
In our mortified tears
We got nothing
By comparison
Just another simplified simpleton
Fuck-stain rebellion
Bradley lived more life
In that rough quarter-century
Than we could ever have
As a fucked up vile visionary
We got nothing
We got nothing
Just another simpleton
Fuck-stain rebellion
He flipped us the finger
while he said Good-bye
In a swift twenty-seven years
Than we could ever dream
In our mortified tears
We got nothing
By comparison
Just another simplified simpleton
Fuck-stain rebellion
Bradley lived more life
In that rough quarter-century
Than we could ever have
As a fucked up vile visionary
We got nothing
We got nothing
Just another simpleton
Fuck-stain rebellion
He flipped us the finger
while he said Good-bye

the wrong kind of no
No thank you
isn't the right answer
to the question of me baring
my soul to you
And I know you said
it out of love and respect and fear
but all I feel is the rejection
that says
I'm too damaged to be read
my history too fucked up
to be shared with you
isn't the right answer
to the question of me baring
my soul to you
And I know you said
it out of love and respect and fear
but all I feel is the rejection
that says
I'm too damaged to be read
my history too fucked up
to be shared with you

Master of Leaving....
You left me hanging, like a coat on a hook,
Thought I’d fold, break, crumble, take a second look.
But I’ve been practicing my loneliness skills,
I made friends with the silence, it fits me like chills.
You swore you’d always be here, a forever vow,
But I’m allergic to promises, just tell me how.
I feared you’d vanish, like all the rest,
So I built walls, then wore them like a vest.
I’ll blame you for every cold, empty night,
For the holes in my heart, that should’ve been tight.
But if I’m honest (and I do love being frank),
I...

Never Thought Myself Garbage
The distillation of my heart
leaves condensation upon my
brow, that which bled now
coagulated, a stroke of luck
Cold roll the beads downward
as so the countenance falls,
cloudless rain besets and
will not be absorbed
Though the crucifixion imagined
the nails hurt none the less
and I without a Magdalena cry
myself to sleep
The ache of bone beneath
aged flesh speaks to a well
travelled road, oceans between
us, my throat still dry
You left me to die in the desert
no kiss goodbye to...
leaves condensation upon my
brow, that which bled now
coagulated, a stroke of luck
Cold roll the beads downward
as so the countenance falls,
cloudless rain besets and
will not be absorbed
Though the crucifixion imagined

and I without a Magdalena cry

You left me to die in the desert

No One Stays Out Of The Family
This is
the house that
Guido
Costello once called
home before a thug
named Dominic The
Butcher
Costello
found him.

Unrequited
Let her grieve
for what his hand thieves
Lest he be desirous
without love or honour
Aim to strengthen his fading devotion
For if it fails
The clarity that succeeds the storm
shall be your own
for what his hand thieves
Lest he be desirous
without love or honour
Aim to strengthen his fading devotion
For if it fails
The clarity that succeeds the storm
shall be your own

Forget
Forget my smile
Forget my laugh
Forget my eyes
Forget all those things you said
You loved so much about me
Forget my utterly unexplainable devotion
To every little whim of yours
Because your happiness was all I wanted, all I needed
Your desires are what I lived to fulfill
Yet it wasn't enough
So please just forget
Everything about me
And hopefully one day I'll be able
To forget about you
Forget my laugh
Forget my eyes
Forget all those things you said
You loved so much about me
Forget my utterly unexplainable devotion
To every little whim of yours
Because your happiness was all I wanted, all I needed
Your desires are what I lived to fulfill
Yet it wasn't enough
So please just forget
Everything about me
And hopefully one day I'll be able
To forget about you
