Philosophical Poems
#philosophical
Philosophical poems studying the nature of knowledge, reality and existence. Also poems about being philosophical, trying to calmly rationalise disappointing personal experiences, or the failures of society and humankind as a whole.
Watching Humans Play
Sometimes the meaning gets lost in translation
Signals are crossed in memories that seem jaded
Plastic people are always asking for motivation
Until all the fascination slowly leaves one sedated
Observation is an art form that must be mastered
A tactic to study humanity in it’s most realistic form
Marshmallow figures bow to a corporate bastard
Media whores sale biased propaganda on the norm
Censorship is used to silence the voices they fear
Problems vanish mysteriously when paid to go away
Curious actors get hired only to...

Nia (Purpose) –On December 30th (COTS)
Art is about building a new foundation, not just laying something on top of what's already there.
Prince
We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated.
Maya Angelou
I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies; for the hardest victory is over self.
Aristotle
Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.
Maya Angelou
The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along. ...

A Doorway - with Lilliputian
Between every two trees
there is a doorway
of rhythms and beams
rustling the fallen leaves
more than the eye can know
powder puff and pollen blow
and scented hours
beneath the smiling moon
of lanterns and stars
hidden under green canopies
and sleeping sunflowers
the glowing fireflies
chanting to the alchemy
of cloaked essence below
with secrets from nights ago
veiled in tulle
forevermore dreaming to
the dusk's tunes
there is a doorway
of rhythms and beams
rustling the fallen leaves

Cinder of Soul
Sweet surrender of echoes calling
from a sanctuary inking my obituary
unveiling wings twilight taking flight
tender embrace rhythms of the night
numbing silence of emptiness, grazing
fathomless eyes of a fallen angel gazing
witnessing the beauty of life's symphony
the cinder of soul, incense to behold

Don't let time fool you
Another night and all I can do is sit & be silent
Silence has become my life filter
I figure if you can't deal with them, then deal with yourself
If you can't deal with yourself, then do the best you can
Not to let time fool you into doing something stupid
Like living forever
Like giving in and stopping your heart
Like going to them and looking for some part of yourself
I can tell you
It doesn't exist

Eternally Harmony
For sure what are you willing to sacrifice, for your eternal Harmony
🤔 For what are you doing in order to remain positive, and focus on what you want and need not what you don't need or want, in your life and world. 🌎 For real do you know what you want and need, to sustain your own way of thinking about your own life. 😌 For haven't you had enough of the UNTRUTH, that you've been receiving 😳 for sure you don't deserve what you've been getting from someone. For real what would you change from them to now. 🤔 For just a mortal moment just imagine,...

Veil of Green
In nature's Autumn theater
listening to a silent breath
beneath this veil of green
as I sleep, horizon I see
floating in the air...

Alchemy
I'm never going to write a book; never going to become an artist/writer of the highest order; never going to be wealthy; it's never been my soul's path nor personal desire at that.... I feel I'm one of the few who just have happened to "slip through the cracks"(into this matrix)- and simply absorbs what my soul gravitates to....(enough to keep my self "intact")"as to not become completely "void of life"-like as if "pronounced legitimately dead on the inside"- though at times I feel the borderline is there....

The Pictures of Self ...
What do you call the picture of self
My mind played my heart like a violin,
Time ticked by like an old clock’s hymn.
Standing at the edge of reason’s wall,
Where shadows rise and echoes call.
Questions dwell in unspent wells,
Is truth alive, or just the tales we tell?
As our age shapes grows and bends the arc of our frame,
We sketch and outline our self, yet never the same, at times defined while other abstracts
The picture of self oftentimes distracts.
What do you see when you gaze inside your mind, what holds the entirety of...

To Infinity And Beyond
(my test tube theory on our existence)
...that the whole universe is contained within a giant testube, and that we are simply part of an experiment, and that these giant other beings/scientists, themselves inside another test tube, and that this is part of a infinite Russian Doll affect, and that each level there are various similar experiments going on at the same time, which may explain why some believe, or sense, that there are parallel universes, and also explain why we cannot comprehend, or understand the true meaning of infinity, as surely there has to be an end somewhere, but if...

Sniffles
The past is gone yet the memories haunt
long sleeves of trees in Autumn's breeze
Whispering over nooks and chilly brooks
with the sniffles and pesky allergies
In nature's rhythm, no time for sarcasm
as the butterflies take flight
