Derbyed Men
For derbyed men
it seems a kind of Pentecost again ---
instead of tongues of fire.
moon slices have
descended on the heads
One wonders
in what shadowed languages
they’re aimed to speak,
one sideways, one direct,
and one oblique,
unto their hedged horizon and its trees
the blue above,
the greying empty plane,
they stand upon.
it seems a kind of Pentecost again ---
instead of tongues of fire.
moon slices have
descended on the heads
One wonders
in what shadowed languages
they’re aimed to speak,
one sideways, one direct,
and one oblique,
unto their hedged horizon and its trees

Jigsaw
Sleeping with you is like an orgy
And I do not like them right now
There are 10 hands that touch me
And I only need two
There is one that likes me
Another gets bored at my sight
There is one that is too intelligent for a simple being like me
And the other shallow and vain
There is a grown up who would keep up with me
And then a flying teenager that I brush off of my shoulder
Sleeping with you is like an orgy
And I do not like them right now
Who are you?
And what am I for you?
And I do not like them right now
There are 10 hands that touch me
And I only need two
There is one that likes me
Another gets bored at my sight
There is one that is too intelligent for a simple being like me

Drifting Whispers ...
Drifting yes we all drifting in meaning,
In the hushwhirl of the gloamnest deep,
Where solshivers dance and soft dreams keep,
A thistledrift of thoughts takes flight,
Beneath the gentle lunebloom night.
Starbreath hums in the dewy air,
A mournkiss lingers light, yet rare.
Echolure calls from misted past,
While velvifade shadows slip so fast.
Frostwhim stirs in autumn’s glow,
Driftember leaves begin to flow.
Through wistgrove halls where echoes stray,
Mistril sighs and fades away. ...

The Alliance of Fantasy
Friday after work
we should meet in some dive bar
unknown to each other
assessing the prospects
to conjure our own version
of happy hour.
Somehow
we become aware of each other
maybe accidental recognition
or simply the draw of pheromones
not a detail that really matters
You will see the urgency in my eyes
and you will pepper our interaction
with all those tasty hints
that will lead us away from the crowd
and into each other.
But instead,
I will take off my work pants
to shake off...

Santa Claus Did It
a Christmas detective story
Lord Sixtus Runcorn had been murdered with an axe, by Santa Claus. Lady Runcorn had seen it through the window of the library while she was walking the primrose path about the house and promptly screamed the estate to a standstill. A doctor was on hand to administer a sedative and she was now sleeping in her chambers, attended by a close friend.
Inspector Frodsham gathered everyone in the drawing room. It was a tradition among the Runcorns of Arrowfield to retire early on Christmas Eve, so the suspects were dressed in pyjamas and robes,...

Secrets - Freddy Again
Back at The Factory, we bump into Freddy again in the entrance hallway.
'Hello, hello, hello,' he says, peering at us through the rimless specs. He's wearing a pullover and walking boots with thick grey socks. 'And where have we been today?'
'We went to a puppy farm,' Robert says.
'Aye, and very nice too. Are yous planning on buying a dog?'
I answer. 'It was just for fun. Robert and Mel like dogs. I tolerate them as long as they don't bark and whine for too long. I prefer cats, myself.'

Proceed with caution
I wish you could stop falling for me
Stop falling for my vulnerability
For my innocent face
The dimples at the corner of my smile
For my flaws
For the words I stutter upon
For my imagination that builds castles in the air,
The things that I hide and you seek to uncover
All the walls I surround myself with and you seek to pass through
How I just seem just one chip away from being perfect
I wish you didn't see this
And part of you didn't want to save me from myself.
I wish you didn't care,
I wish you were not so...

the unveiling
my soul a wild sapphire it burns bright in the light
it dazzles the eye, confounds the mind
then in the shade of your doubt, it's just a rock
dances freely while reaching for you
you're not to be found
I bedazzled you, then let you down
but I ask you to look closer
at my reflective surfaces
you will see deep undercurrents of beauty
the sex of me is thrilling but it won't keep you
you desire the truth in me
the truth is the wisdom of me is hidden
for those who would patiently wait on the unveiling
it won't be...

Hecate's Moon
I am the moon
I spell an otherworldly chant for you
words heard by but a few
I shine on you
children of the night
worshippers of Hecate
I am the moon
I see the footsteps
you will leave
upon the sands of time
some will allow roses
to grow, and others, thorns
I am the moon
I weld power beyond your ken
beyond the knowledge
and understanding of man
for nearer to ingenuity
Is the path to insanity
I am the moon
I walk in the darkness
path illuminated by visions ...

Afflictive
Your afflictive aura retains a mystery,
inflicting on me aches of misery.
Your words are blistery,
and you smile back as if you have had some victory!
I find myself tangled in your enigma
like a moth in the spider’s web.
To me you’re a stigma!
Every reason I’ve given you was a misstep!
inflicting on me aches of misery.
Your words are blistery,
and you smile back as if you have had some victory!
I find myself tangled in your enigma
like a moth in the spider’s web.
To me you’re a stigma!
